Plat is not fun for me, but I do it for the credits and I realize now that I'm actually not too bad at it.

dps kite fest? don't run around on plat...stand your ground and have someplace to fall back to if it gets overrun then go back to holding again.

My experience is that platinum pugs always becomes some kind of camp fest on most every map. The team generally sticks to a specific area and waits for the bosses to come. This is especially true if there is a juggernaut on the team. This is fine for me, I like to camp , but it really can be easier than gold sometimes since all you are doing is shooting enemies walking down a specific funnel.

i like platimun if its not rio. that map is just bad, and would be even without the box

I prefer gold. Silver is way too easy and platinum binds you to stay in one place. On gold, you can use any class or weapon you want and be successful still.

The most fun would be Bronze with Silver's spawn budget because you would get a variety of enemies who cheat the least and all the characters/weapons work and the match does not take forever.

I don't really like plat. at all. I'd rather play Gold or Silver. I just don't find it fun at all.

Easy credits with a good team, sure. Okay, maybe it's fun on a select, few elite classes. The rest? Not so much.

My motto: Stick to gold for fun, Platinum for credits.

I have no issue playing it with friends, but when I'm playing alone (pug), I prefer gold, it's my comfort zone.
I don't like to stick with the strongest build, I like to play with everything, and platinum is not a good place for it. I don't like the mix of factions too, I think they work better without mixing, it's more fun to play against...

why not? Gold isn't hard. Normally I play the human sentinel with the vindicator, that isn't weak like the predator, but it doesn't kick like the harrier either. Still fun to play and effective...

Actually yes , human sentinel is power user anyway, 4 base human sentinel with a predator can win gold

I play with friends on Platinium - i'd say the difficulty with competent players equals that of "Golver" (Gold/Silver amalgamation) with morons.

The important part is that i play with friends. That constitutes 80% of the fun in game for me.

i dont usually pug on plat. but playing the game in general lately this last week or so, has been pretty bad all around. The strangest stuff seems to happen to me and its at the point where im beginning to rage by the end of a few matches.

be it getting insti-grabbed by a wall teleporting banshee, getting sync-killed through walls, invisible phantoms, spawns dropping on my head, getting nailed up hill while in cover, hunters shooting me while still in stun animation, losing credits, getting stuff then rng taking it back, and losing more medigel than I am actually using just to name a few.

Usually once in a while is ok and i can forgive, but when these things are happening multiple times every match, its turning into a very poor experience. As I said, this has just become more common the last week or so I would say.

Hamiltoe admitting to enjoying Platinum? Never thought I'd see the day! BTW you were ridiculous that game. You didn't have a single point specced out on her, yet you managed to come second only to me at the end of the game with only a Talon.

I prefer playing Platinum over Gold with good friends/teammates (although when a bunch of Primes show up, rage rocketing does happen on occasion). We'll average in the 17-20 minute range just running around ramboing the shi t out of everything.

With those same teammates, Gold is just a joke. Unless you're the first one to the spawn, there's nothing left to kill.

I think Gold even has too many bosses to be interesting. Silver is where it's at. Plus in Silver, you can group up or rambo it, whatever you feel like.

Personally, I don't like like plat that much. It's so much of a grind that it's almost boring.

It's fun with a good team. I can't carry a bad PUG through plat like I can gold though.

No. I find that the high amount of boss units limits how you can (effectively) play classes, which isn't fun. For example, trying to play a melee Krolord on Platinum will quickly get you killed.

I stick to Gold unless i'm desperate for credits, which I almost never am.
