I did the whole challenge 3 times to help various people.

First time playing with randoms on Platinum (played a few plats with friends) but managed to do Cerberus, reapers and collectors on the first try. Against Geth I had one wipe on wave 10, and one death in the extraction zone (ouch) before third time lucky.

Never really understood the moaning about Pugs, although I admit I gave up trying to find a lobby that wasn't set to Rio. I didn't use the box though, just took a ghost/ saber and hung out around the crates picking off ranged enemies.

I did it in 5 PUGs. The failed attempt was against the Geth. The players in that game were simply awful at not getting grabbed by banshees and rocket trooper death squads made for some difficult soloing. I still might have pulled it off if I hadn't gotten revive-grabbed on wave 9. The other 4 games were pretty straightforward.

I got it done with the help of some friends and some pugs.
Thank god I hand a mic.
Its just make it easy when you can call out to your team and work together as a team.
Doesn't help with the lag though.That kill one of my games and had to reboot my ps3.
Just wish I could have help out more people.

I was really lucky - first PUG I joined had it set to platinum glacier.

Somehow we went through all 4 factions in a row, with average match time of around 22-24 minutes. We played properly, not speedrunning or cheesing it with cheap tactics (I was playing javelin QFI) - making the occasional mistake, like on gold.

Only one player dropped out at the last match (they already had the banner). I was surprised at how quickly we managed it.

Yep, all PUG's and for the most part everyone was surprisingly competent, nothing at all like my previous public experiences of Plat

I think it was 4 for 4 but over the course of two nights, those Geth Juggs lol, best decoys that the game could offer.

I failed this one. I never liked Platinum, and wasn't very enthusiastic. I finally decided to look for an match and was cerberus on reactor Hazard. The team was damn good, but there was an point were the enemy spawns just got so stupidly overwhelming that we couldn't handle anymore. We got wiped and served by wave 9. Didn't had the drive to keep fighting after such an humiliating defeat.

Did it in 6 attempts. The first was a failed Collector on Vancouver, then did 3 straight (Cerberus, Geth, Reaper) all on FBW. Then we failed during wave 9 on another Collector attempt and I got kicked. I joined another Collector Plaitnum in progress on Hydra with a bad host connection but I stayed. I kept getting disconneted and rejoining and got an extraction.

I am never playing Plaitnum again. My bloodpressure can't take it.

A lot of it has to do with luck, what task you need to do on objective waves and then how those go. Like if you get devices on wave 10 and it puts 3 of the devices all within 10 meters of each other, that's pretty lame and in some cases is damn near impossible to deal with.

When I was working on the challenge I got Cerberus, Geth and Reapers done on the first try. It took 4 tries to do collectors, wiping on wave 10 each of the first three attempts. Yesterday evening I had a friend who still needed to do collectors and we knocked it out on the first try. Sometimes it goes swimmingly, sometimes it goes wrong very quickly.

Did it, in pugs. Just as someone else mentioned, reapers geth and cerb runs were successful on the first try, while collector was more painful, two failed attempts, but third time was the charm, surprisingly on hazzard dagger, which is a map I kinda hate

4 straight PUG games, 4 extractions, less than 1.5 hours. I am sorry, I don't get accept this PUGs are bad crap. I almost always get extraction with PUGs. I can solo platinum waves by myself. As long as the PUGs are good enough to not force me to solo every single waves, we will get extraction.

Took three friends and four matches. Those were my first platinum matches since I completed one a few days after Platinum went online. Was really surprised how well the team worked together, even against the Collectors it was relatively easy. With the right people, even platinum can be easy, I guess.

First try to get the first three factions and two tries for Collectors. The first three waves of Collector's is hell, after that it gets easier.
