Didn't have enough time.  I thought I would have to work all weekend (which I did), so I hurried up and got the Silver done to assure myself of at least 2 Commendation Weapons.  Then I started Platinum with an U/U/P match that ended up being Reapers, got the extraction, then didn't get to play again.  Still on a 3-month+ Hurricane drought, by the way.

I did Cerberus, the Geth, and the Collectors on my first try. The easiest of those three, in my estimation, is Cerberus and the hardest is the Collectors, though nowhere near as nightmarish as some consider them to be.

The hardest, by far, is the Reapers IMO. It wasn't the first time I played against them on Platinum, but they're consistently the hardest ones for me and it took me three tries to get them for the challenge. To be fair, it was partly because of massive lag, but I also had considerable lag against the Collectors and did fairly well. It's the combination of Banshees, Ravagers, and Marauders that makes them the hardest for me.

I know this goes against popular wisdom, but to me, the Reapers remain the most challenging faction. They're also the most fun to play with and the least cheap, though, so it's all good.

Had an incredible good PUG run directly at tuesday with my Paladin. Four games, all extracted (3x full) in a straight row.

Came home one hour before the op ending so had to do silver runs.

havent played in months but came back cuz of the dlcs. never played platinum before. i joined a pug gold run and we did pretty well. after the round the leader turned it into a platinum run with random enemy/map. stayed to see how well id do. got map giant vs reapers. 1st wave, 2 guys in the team died in the first 2 mins and left. got 2 other randoms joining in and we actually finished it. the leader who was a jug i think made the match easy.
after that i randomly joined 3 other pug matches and successfully completed all of them. by luck i got map giant vs cerberus and geth as well.
for the 4th map vs collector i ended up in rio. ive never heard of the box of shame till now, but thankfully we didnt realy use it since we had 2 jugs tanking, while me the vorcha sentinel and an asair justicar were just killing all the mobs around them.

I did it, to my own great surprise (I usually only play silver). I used the Geth juggernaut for a couple of the matches and the N7 Fury for the other two. Cerberus, Geth and Reapers were actually fine on PUGs I found, but I had real trouble with Collector matches. I eventually found some people through BSN and we got it done on Dagger. I'm still really shocked I managed to do it!

Close, but no. Did PUG games with my AIU. Left Collectors for last and waited too long. Tried 3 times. The first time my game froze, the second match went horribly, and the third one I got disconnected. It was my first time playing Platinum though, and I'm glad I was able to do that much.

Got it done pretty quickly aside from the Collectors one which somehow managed to take several tries and wipes at the end of wave 10 and finally extracting after a few hours of frustration. Ended up discovering that Cerberus on Plat can very easily be finished in about the space of a Gold game.

1 pug game each for reaper, geth, and cerb. Then, collectors, tried like 5 PUG games and ended up getting helped out by a BSNer to finally finish it.

Yup. Finished it with my reliable squad and then tried to help some BSN people complete it.

Geth were more difficult than Collectors. I find that very... interesting.

4 times for me, 4 times for another friend, and I was in 3 matches to help another one out.

The first 2 matches on Friday against Geth and Reapers went surprisingly well. It was the Cerberus and Collector matches that were the problem. I managed to pug Cerberus but had to break down and beg for help with the Collectors. Someone on my friends list gathered some of his friends and did it in one try. And only one of them was on Rio.

I think I will wait until I get some better equipment before I try any more platinum matches.

I did it the cheap and easy way. Geth trooper with geth shotgun... and 2 friends \\o/ and no unknow unknow.

Wasn't a big deal. Though i certainly didn't enjoy collectors, they are just annoying. If i wipe, it's always against them.

Only one that needed a few attempts was Geth. Didn't PUG it, though. Helped out a few friends, too, when I could. Wasn't so bad.

 I did it in 4 out of 6 games with PUGs. I was terriefied of playing the Geth, and we got them on Glacier which was, to my surprise, terribly easy. We cleared it with no problems. Collectors took two tries, but got it done. Even managed to get my Best of the Best banner in the process

 4 games, 4 extractions. Curiously enough, the Collector were the easiest one (lucky us, the PS3 didn't freeze).

I don't know if they "are" here, but a big thanks to Homiejess, Mechobase and Celebel1. Probably the easiest Platinum games I've ever had.

4 games, but all with friends. Cerberus was a nightmare on platinum (used all consumables but thermal clips), Collectors was surprisingly easy (used only two consumables all match!)

Did all of them successfully and did more platinums after that but then again i and my friends are no push overs, average game on plat 21-24 minutes (no nukeing spawns either except for target waves.)

I could not do it. Plat. is just not fun for me. And I would rather not hold other people back.

So I just ignored it. I don't mind missing a com pack.
