Did it with pugs.
None of those were Rio believe it or not.

Took one try, got it on 360.
Took one more try, and I got it on PC.
Spent the rest of the time helping others get theirs, I thought it was amazing how much of BSN actually put in to help with this. Kudos has to go to P51Mus7ang, who must have helped nearly 20 different people at least.
I second your comment about Mus7ang, you and he got me and another guy through a few games on friday before you needed to get some sleep then another excellent player came in (whose name escapes me). I hope we didnt perform too badly.

I think it took me 8 PUG matches. Never played Plat before and I have limited Gold running, but had good teams for Cerberus and Reapers, and played my Juggernaut to try and be most useful.
For some reason Geth was the worst - had two wipes at wave 7 and 11 before doing it in an interminable 71-minute match - most of which was me and a truly excellent TGI running laps around Giant, because the other two players went down reliably near the start of every wave. (Can't blame them; I'm not Plat-ready either.)
Collectors was fine after a couple of false starts (getting dumped into a match where the whole team is down on wave 1 and the LZ is swarmed? Not going to happen...) but was the only match where I didn't extract, due to some poor judgement on my part and a Dragoon-swarm.
If I played with anyone here, thank you so much! I don't know if I want to repeat the experience in a hurry - PUGs are very chancy - but I feel a lot more confident about playing Gold now.

Took 8 pug matches.
Cerberus, Geth, and Reapers took four, but only because the one wipe was a match I got dropped into with everyone else already down.
The Collectors though...
Three matches in a row on Rio with my controls freezing up intermittently. When they did, couldn't shoot, couldn't use powers, couldn't melee...nothing. Not pleasant.
Finally got it done on Giant using my Jug. It was a near thing though. You know things didn't go well when a Melee Jug tops the scoring and has a gold revive medal as well.
God but I hate the Collectors...

Literally in the first four games. The people I met were exceptional and they even finished the challenged before I even got into the lobby. They said they'd help me do the entire challenge. I'm especially grateful.

Got really lucky with pugs. First game was geth, extracted. groups was bad and my back was sore.
Then dropped into a pug group that ran thru 4 plats easily. i stayed around when they did geth again out of camaraderie.
Noone spoke, mixed up the maps. Was great.
Only sound was right at the end when the host got super excited and said how we should all friend each other...
Noone friended me...

I've never played platinum before this challenge. I stuck with the Firebase Giant layout and did Cerberus one day and was content with doing one faction a day until I teamed up with a bunch of vets who were better than I was. I helped them complete the challenge and they in turn stuck with me until I finished it - did the remaining three in one day!

First off... I really don't enjoy Plat.... I do enjoy Gold, but Plat just isn't fun for me at all....
Given that, Out of 7 attempts, I think I did the 4 successful ones with friends, and had 3 failures in PUGS.
Just want to give a shout out, and thank you to PC Origin ID Shingle.
2 of my friends and I couldn't find a 4th last night so we opened to public to get our Reapers done on Ghost. Awesome player, and very much a team-player! Played a Juggie, and just rocked it!
Again, a big hug, and a thank you to Shingle!

Proud to say that I, indeed, stuck it out and managed to eek out all four extractions, all in pugs. Last to go was, of course, Collectors.
To the three people I played with for that match— the AIU, the N7 Destroyer, and the Volus Engineer (I think?) in FB Glacier— thank you for getting me through that match. Hope I wasn't too much of a liability. Glad I had a couple of shining moments, though
There were a time or two when I wondered if I should have detonated my tech armor like that turian in the Citadel DLC kept saying.... lol

Pugs only. Some were a disaster but two of the matches were made so easy by a slight lag: felt like playing bronze. It's amazing how a bit of lag can make this game easy. Enemies could barely hit us (collectors and cerberus).

Got through it with no issues. Thought Collectors were gonna be a pain but that match went pretty smoothly. Never again though.

Also struck it lucky with the first PUG and players stayed for next 3 matches . Completed challenge fairly smoothly under 2 hrs. The luck of the draw I guess.

Got it all first tries on the first day. Figured it would be better to do it before the weekend players came around.

Got lucky. Did the challenge as soon as it was released. First match was Rio Reapers and we extracted. Got into a different group and Played all 4 on Firebase Hydra. Extracted all 4 times. Was done before lunch on Tuesday.
