Why is femshep called a he while hanging out with javik?

Note, in a few dossiers, femshep was refered to as a he in LOTSB too and had aniamtion issues and audio bugs.

Then why does femshep not have a female stunt double? Creating a gneric female npc for this scene would not be hard. There's also no excuse for the he bits.Brovikk Rasputin wrote...

A diffrent gender NPC showing up is not a "bug" It's a massive oversight.Random Jerkface wrote...
It's probably a bug. It's occasionally happened to me in ME2 as well.

I hope that's fixable with Gibbed, I don't play femshep but that's still disappointing.

Lots of other games too, I have been refered to as male on my female characters in Fallout 3, New Vegas, Skyrim, Dragon Age 1 and 2, WoW, SWTOR and SWKOTOR.
It tends to happen in games where you can pick your gender =)

Trust me, Commander Shepard's gender is the least of that movies' troubles.

The oither kicker is Liara does not rest her head on Femsheps shoulder unlike with maleshep where Miranda/Liara/Jack/Tali do. None of Femsheps lis do that. That is not a bug, that and the crap in the hangout with javik are major oversights or they plain didn't care. I really hope it's an oversight.PKchu wrote...

It's not just the lines, it's the fact the stunt oduble is male, there's also no Li headrest for femsheps unliek for maleshep. This stuff adds up.Kellleth wrote...

You mistake me, I'm genuinely confused. I was also confused during the Citadel trailer when Shepard was spouting one liners in one scene, and then in the next scene some strange red-haired woman was dancing with Garrus. As far as I can see from your original post, it seems your comments about papa Bioware "not giving a damn as usual" about this female are far more inflammatory.

Then explain why they did not make a female stunt double, why there is only he lines in this scene and hwy none of femsheps Lis rest their heads on her shoulder like the males. These are not bugs.Unschuld wrote...

Maybe a female stunt double wasn't available. Maybe the director didn't care. Maybe it's just a very small detail that doesn't mean anything.Mr.House wrote...

Maybe. If the game didn't read the "female" flag as true, then it's conceivable that it triggered the wrong cutscene as well.Mr.House wrote...

That or it's a joke, but it seems less likely considering.
