1. A sequel set trilogy 150-200 yrs after the reaper war involving the build up, participation in and end of a civil war where you can choose which side to support based on your experiences in game, think empire vs rebellion and brown coats vs alliance in firefly/serenity. If you fight for the smaller faction you'd have less access to resources etc.
2. More hub worlds with more "life" in terms of animated NPCs who don't just stand in the one place as they do at present.
3. More variety of gameplay, not just run and gun.
4. Coherent story with no plot holes or to much ambiguity.
5. Have the game "context sensitive" ie. other NPCs recognise you and react to you based on your reputation or if you are wearing a helmet you won't be recognised etc

So, Mass Effect with the Skyrim engine? Brilliant!

1) New trilogy

2) New cast

3) More class powers customization (let us fully choose what powers we can wield as a class, instead of only getting one bonus power)

4) Returning Dialog Wheel

5) Multiplayer Co-Op mode like the Spartan Ops of Halo 4, in addition to the arena missions we currently have.

Assuming this isn't a post-synthesis universe?

1) Clear perspective on the plot and its resolution
2) Versatile conversations
3) More customization and inventory interaction
4) Branching decisions confined to one game (outside of relationships/squad members).
5) Smaller-scale threat. Can be galaxy-threatening, just not Reaper threatening.

... and a sixth? Keep up with some of the less-serious tones from the Citadel DLC.

1. Shepard and Co.
2. Normandy
3. More organic feeling conversations
4. Cut down on class structure a bit (like skyrim)
5. Loot system would be neat, but not necessary

I loved the multiplayer. Lots of room for improvement there, but a solid foundation.

1. Shepard and Co
2. A sequel
3. No ending that would result in the backlash that ME3 had
4. More things to do with your LI
5. Keeping the rpg elements a main thing while also making combat better.

1. Sequel
2. Better character customization (ME2 -> ME3 import ruined my character appearance ugggh)
3. Better NPCs with less creepy super-light blue eyes that look souless.
4. More hubworlds or at least more fleshed out hubs with more places to go akin to Citadel DLC.
5. If not Shepard and the rest, VA cameos in other roles; also make me care about the MC

*Also adding to character customization: adjust the body types of the females plsssss. Femshep was so disproportionate in ME3. Also, if there is going to be an MC face vote or ANY contest like the one for Femshep in ME3, actually make the character look like the promo pics lol.

I think it's safe to assume everyone wants a sequel.

1. More emphasis on characters

2. More emphasis on the galactic cultures, how each race is different.

3. No plot involving the Reapers or anything too big and powerful that becomes impossible to write.

4. More classes. We've had 6 for the whole trilogy with small differences. Some MP classes would be cool.

5. More hubs. Since it'll possibly be on PS4 it means more space, which also means you can really go crazy with hub worlds and make them bigger and more involved.

I'm going to cheat and make a #6. A bigger selection of customizable hair cuts, beards, skin colors, bring back scars.

Just don't make it an MMO, and DONT make it an FPS. And ill be good.
Hopefully they will keep it a RPG with decision making elements
Sequel, prequel is kind of useless.

1. It's a Trilogy
2. It's a sequel
3. No FPS/MMO stuff just an RPG like ME1,2,3
4. Decision based game
5. Better Exploration

EDIT 1: A Turian main character would also be nice, maybe a choice to choose to be a Turian or Human. Thoughts?

What would your're top 5 be?

I love the Turians, but giving that as the only option? I'm not onboard with it. A choice like DA:O would be wonderful. I don't see why a single Va could voice different races; just edit the audio and boom! you have your main character of different races.

1. Sequel
2. Exploration on uncharted planets
3. More fleshed out dialogue system -- allow player option to choose investigation or neutral options (ones that are actually different then paragon/renegade choices). Cut back the auto dialogue.
4. Multiplayer (since we know it will be included) that doesn't have any impact on the single player campaign's story. I don't care if you can unlock weapons or stuff like that in MP, but I don't think that you should have to play MP to get story content.
5. Better side quests -- don't use the eavesdropping quests that ME3 had.

1. A protagonist who isn't constantly being reminded that he or she is the only one who can save the galaxy.
2. Conversations that involve more than one squad member at a time.
3. Comedy. Bioware is great at this, as shown in The Citadel DLC.
4. Several hub worlds like in ME1&2.
5. Weapons holstering or lowering.

I am going to split this into two distinct parts;

SP:
1) Trilogy sequel with tighter narrative (have the story hammered out before making the trilogy)
2) move away from "huh huh sexy time!" "romances" to more full blown, involved adult relationships.
3) Dragon Age : Origins style endings and possibilities as opposed to ME3's ending
4) Multiple race options
5) Guns, guns and yes, even more guns

MP;
1) Truly large "large scale" battles with 1000 to 1500 or more participants on a single map at any given time vying for control over territory vs AI or in PVP mode
2) Vehicles including and not limited to aircraft, tanks, mecha and armored infantry
3) preferably co-op, with pvp arena maps
4) micro transaction system that does not require one to grind for roughly 10 hours per single rare weapon upgrade, allow single specific purchases of specific armor / weapon / upgrades and no price gouging
5) fortnightly Dev / GM / community manager led events
