Effectively. the Promos were added to the UR pool. So since each weapon has 10 levels and there are 5 promo weapons, 50 cards were effectively added to the UR pool.

I WANT a leather clad, Ducati riding, SCCA BMW racing, electrical engineer, secure communications development manager to declare her love for me, quit her job, trash her career and move from VA to NE, to share my bed in everlasting bliss.

We probably both have the same chances of getting what we want.

The only people that don't are the max-manifest entitlement guys.

So, I would say he speaks for the majority of players.

You see at first my reaction is "awesome! now i can get more valkyries", but then I realized my own post that I'm commenting in. So now I have more weapons I'll get ammo instead of >.>

Another point I thought of to support an easier way to get URs.

As support for the game diminishes, so to does the reward for investing time into the game. At this point in the games life cycle, why would I want to continue gambling my time away with the store when incentives to continue playing the game, such as weekend ops or new content, are going away?

I'll throw that in the OP.

nah, just increase drop rate sin existing packs. receiving so many level-IV ammo is pretty annoying.

Either option works. Come out with an UR Pack or increase the drop rates of URs in PSPs/RPs/APs.

This is exactly my worry too. If MP is on its way out (no
more patches, DLC, no way to know about weekend Ops and balance changes), is it
really worth it to me to grind out credits in the hopes of getting a level 1
Lancer? Would I be better off just playing solely for fun on Silver/Gold? The
purpose of UR guns is to create a “need” to continue grinding for credits, but
I feel like as things currently are, the weight of the URs has finally become
overwhelming.

This is what I've always hoped they were going to do. It makes sense from a financial standpoint too. If this source of revenue is going to diminish, why not get the best of it? Or they could just like x4 drop rates or something, that works too.

Especially considering there are far more ultra-rares than commons and uncommons and almost as many URs as rares in this backwards system.

A cash only UR pack would really be the way to go, The multiplayer
is already set up similar to a pay to win system.

You could either grind out credits and earn URs the hard way buying SP
and PSP's or you could simply drop real money for the guaranteed chance
to get an UR. There are already many other games, such as Happy Wars
that use this exact setup.

If there were a pack to be released for say one or two dollars that would
ensure getting an UR weapon, people would buy an absolute ton of them.

I am up for whatever. With the Promo weapons going into the Ultra Rare column, I am nearly done with this game. Still don't have any of the new UR weapons from the last DLC. Bioware's effort is going down the drain because of a stupid store.

Well, now with the promo weapons being Ultra-Rare I've given up on ever maxing the ones I actually want. Come on EA, who pays for random packs with consumables now that the support for the game stops? I understand why they went that way but can we have a little fun with those weapons in the months we have left? Hell, I personally would give them some money for Ultra-Rares at this point.

A few comments, maybe more.

The first point I made was that the chances for the kind of pack OP wants BioWare to create are slim.

The second point I made (using all caps) was to differentiate between wants and needs -- no one needs a guaranteed UR pack.

A point I did not make in my original post was whether or not I wanted an increased UR drop rate pack.  In a later response to OP, I pointed out I would be happy with an increased drop rate pack and would buy it.  OBTW, I don't have a maxed manifest.

So ... just exactly what are you responding to, in my original comments, which is what you quoted?

Now I will respond to your comment.

The "max-manifest entitlement guys" did the grinding to max their manifests.  Most of them did it in far fewer hours than what I have played.  If they have a gripe, I suppose it is that they did the grinding, now others want a maxed manifest, without the grinding.  Frankly, I don't care about their "feelings," but I do see their point.

You have the meaning of "entitlement" flipped.  Those without a maxed manifest, who want a quick way to a maxed manifest are the "entitlement guys" and not those that actually maxed their manifests the old fashioned way, where they did the grinding to "earn" it.

I don't envy the guys with maxed manifests.  If BioWare doesn't create a new pack with a high price/guaranteed UR, I'm OK with that.  I don't grind, I just play the game for fun.  I also don't feel "entitled" to a maxed manifest.  In the slim chance that BioWare does roll out a new pack, I'll buy it, if for no other reason than just to finish off the manifest, so I can play the game without giving a rat's ass about credits and just have fun.

Which is the whole point of playing MP, for me.  Not a maxed manifest, not grinding for credits, but to have fun.  I suggest you try it.

I approve of this idea. BSN forgets that they are not the majority of the playerbase, and the majority of the playerbase does not have a maxed manifest, are casual and/or new players, and need this pack this late in the game's life cycle.

Game was on sale for 10 dollars. I bet quite a few people bought the game and now are screwed on the hopes of ever being able to max their weapons. I bought the pc version in december after giving up on the ps3 version. Having so many UR cards is rediculous and insulting to your player base. Game is also free on PSN through the plus program so there are more and more players that join everyday. I don't want to talk about how much real money I used to get where I am, but you are getting no more without a UR drop increase or a UR pack. Listen to your customers!

no... that is the reason of why they created the PSPs... and after that, the arsenal pack... they are there to get you your weapons with a chance or far greater chance... making another pack with the purpose of furthering increasing the odds after the first two would be way redundant.

deal with it like all the others before you.
