If Bioware were willing to do at least one more patch for Mass Effect 3, I hope they would include this:
You know the Armax Arsenal Arena in the Citadel DLC includes a neat little feature called Score Multipliers, which make the game more challenging by giving enemies more shields, more damage, or taking away Thermal Clips or Medi-Gel for the player. Unfortunately, this feature is only present in the Arena itself. I can't help but think; wouldn't it be great if we could have this for the entire campaign?
I'm think Bioware could add something similar called "Difficulty Multipliers"; new options in the Gameplay menu that increase the difficulty in one way or another, while increasing the ammount of Credits and EXP you earn.
There would also be a few that make the game easier, but reduce the ammount of EXP and credits you recieve. If you wanted, you could play around with different modifiers to make the game as challenging or as easy as you want, or try and find that perfect "not too easy, not too hard" setting that's just right for you. Here's a few ideas:
Enemy Shields: All enemies are granted shields, increased shield strength. (+10%)
Enemy Health: All enemies gain twice as much health and armor. (+10%)
Enemy Resistance: Enemies take 25% less damage from powers. (+10%)
Enemy Damage: All enemies do increased damage. (+10%)
Player Damage: Shepard does more weapon damage. (-10%)
Player Shields: Shepard has stronger shields. (-10%)
Player Ammo: Shepard has unlimited ammo. (-10%)
Player Medi-Gel: Shepard has unlimited Medi-Gel. (-10%)
Difficulty Multipliers in single-player?
