I love it when anti-enders get on here, play the victim and
act like they're some oppressed minority group, then immediately attack
anyone who doesn't see things their way.

You know better bioware, and this last dlc proved it. Keep up the good work.

Well, it just goes to show that people who like the ending have HORRIBLE taste. :P

I don't think anyone LIKES the endings, just that we don't go raging for 1yr like kids. Its just that we're not an emotional man-child who can't deal with loss of life in an adult manner.

Sorry the game didn't end like a Disney movie. Get over it.

I am a proender. Loved the ending even before the extended cut.

Control is my offical main canon ending. I am one of the people responsible for most of the control ending banners. Started the banner request thread for control ending banners even.

Get your facts right Funkdrspot.

How so?  Personally I disliked the endings but thought this DLC was fun and enjoyable.

Generalization is bad.

This.

Thought the endings were complete **** (heck thought almost all of ME3 was laughably mediocre) and loved this dlc.

I had an excellent time with Citadel, this cheese you're whining about only made it all the more enjoyable.

Well I loved the dlc! Bioware nailed it, the dlc provided the general populace with solid closure. I was able to face the starchild with no regrets after the dlc (picked control ending).

Sure, the ending was mediocre, but that only makes me look forward to ME4 even more!
I wanna find out how things turn out AND play it. ^_^

1. Notice that little squiggle at the end? This one: :P ? It was supposed  to turn out like this:P, suggesting quite strongly that you should not take the preceding sentence seriously.

2. The post I replied to pointed out that people who liked the endings hated Citadel and vice versa. As I absolutely abhor the original endings and was not mollified by the EC (yet loved the "Citadel"-DLC), I'm with you on this.

3. Conceding that generalization is bad, and reminding you that my post was written as a humorous reply rather than a serious contribution, I do have to point out that the ending was a gigantic failure, even in terms of the technicalities of story-telling and characterization. So if somebody likes that, yet cannot relate to all the strong character moments, mini-dramas and humorous episodes in "Citadel", that does not exactly commend their taste to me.

I loved the cheese. It was pure camp and I was in stitches the entire time I played it. I loved it and feel they really hit the ball out of the park with Citadel.

We got it for some time now. Bioware people with higher standards left the company, and all that is left is people with lower standards.

You guys could at least start to charge for your products accordantly.

Unfortunately i have to agree with this guy. The standards of Bioware back in ME1 and Dragon Age: Origins?

PURE GOLD!!!

ME2, DA2 and ME3 are nice but... they cant stack up to how beautiful the RPG elements were back then... during Bioware's golden age.

Because at this point ALL threads are, ultimately, about the ending.  The ending is what defines the series.  The ending.

Question: Who's your main LI?

Answer: Ashley, but it sucks cuz my Shep didn't get to see her with that ending.

Or: Liara but what does it matter?  Look at the ending.  No more LI.

And here's yet another tosser who has utterly and completely missed the point on why people were complaining in the first place. If people are still using that ridiculous strawman after all these months then there's no hope for them.

All this thread has done for me is prove people right when they say this community is poisonous.

Cheesy lines are cheesy BioWare. Please don't use them in any future game.

You need to take this DLC less seriously^^

Bioware had forgot what they had wrote in Mass Effect 1 i mean the conversation with Joker and Shepard in the Normandy

Joker Put the Normandy in my hands and i'll make her dance for you just don't ask me to get up and dance unless you know you like the sound of shapping shin bones

Eh.  This type of camp has always existed in some way in BioWare games.

I think you're projecting a dislike for other aspects of the game onto the DLC, personally.  It's one of the very few DLCs I've actually picked up in my life because it looked to be worth it to me.  And it was.

Different strokes for different folks and all.

Cheers!

no offence, but in all the places for bioware to go in the MEU, why go(out) with comedy(it seems like "of errors").

I love the endings too and the results of all four of them and I choose them based on the Shepard I am playing at the time. I don't have one single one that I do every time.

At OP, seriously? So Mass Effect is not allowed to have humor? You don't know a bloody thing about story telling do you? No, no you don't.
