I'm too drunk for this thread. I would say that I'd come back to it later, but it might be locked by then.

Ah ah, more cheese : xD

And that was the day when no man, woman, nor child was starved of cheese again!
To cheese my lovelies. *Pours some Jack.*

A last video (I promise :) ) : https://www.youtube....PJ0Ht2kc#t=504s A Sheogorath mod for Skyrim ! More cheese please.

Most excellent. Think I'll go raid my fridge now.

In this DLC they even took the wish of their fans to heart for more Paragon and Renegade Interrupts.
Because in Vega´s visit you do more than 182 of them :)

And for me I can live with it, mostly because I´m an anime fan, and in most anime series - even the most serious ones - you have one or two funny episodes.
But i recommend to let go a few days before and after the DLC, before you play the main game again, because otherwise you either don´t get in the mode, or you hit the floor really hard because of the change of mood in the game.

Oh and the Kai Leng fight looks even more stupid after the fight against yourself.

Hm and maybe before Thessia, if you want to play it like a roleplay (as far as it is possible with automode Shepard), because the events of this DLC just don´t fit in the game right after Thessia W

Well, the overall theme of this DLC doesn´t fit in any part of the game, if you keep in mind what happens on other parts of the Citadel and the Galaxy, but on the other hand even soldiers in real life do party and other silly stuff right before a big battle where others think "why the hell are you having fun while there are dying people out there!".
And the simple answer is: Who knows if they have an opportunity after said battle.

Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run. There's still time to change the road you're on.

The first two parts of the mission - escaping the mercs and infiltrating the charity event - were excellent. The archives were a disappointment. The clone plot was the embodiment of stereotypical, but intentionally so, and it did actually fit into the bigger picture rather well. The idea that Cerberus might have created a Shepard clone is not at all far-fetched if you ask me.

You see, I mind the occasional cheese in the main game much more, because the main game is a serious story. This one isnt. I agree that the archives mission had too much of it for my personal taste, but all in all I think we needed something like this, especially the R&R part.

The clone part makes sense. In fact I'm surprised there weren't any more clones Cerberus had created. But I think the implement of the plot in the game was... bad. I'm not a fan of cliches, and the clone being bitter and jealous of Shepard, and tries to live his/her life by stealing the Normandy is as Cliche as it can get. The plot had no real reason other than just to show how awesome Shepard is, in the most lightheaded way. I guess I can see why people would like that, I however got tired of it rather fast.

The R&R was more suited to the vibe of the DLC, which (imo) the plot didn't. I even like the new content with the characters.

Though the party seems to me wayyy out of place. The whole idea of a shore leave felt like it.

yeah ... those line are cheesy ..

but not cringe worthy. i mean .. half of the game is super cheesy AND cringe worthy.

"we fight or we die!" "this is not about tactics" (those are especially bad - with more context or a little addition, they could have been great though) ... *evac scene*

the dialogue in the dlc is not deep and meaningfull but it fulfills its purpose.

all in all, i can live with this amount of cheese .. it should not get cheesier though.

I've played my share of games who had very little cheese (or at least, were more subtle about it) in them and were still a great fun.

Not all jokes or awesome one-liners have to be corny.

oh please, bioware gave us a great DLC which gave us all (except for spoiled peasents) some great laughs. The whole DLC was cheese covered in cheese wiz and it was "totally worth it"

that's the point, apparently.. bioware is out of ideas, OR it's just time to 'lighten up' on'em..?

ME3 got too serious on the 'message' issues, but fell short on explainify'n ... when is doubt?

I'm surprised this made 7 pages already.

OP: you don't have to like the DLC. It's perfectly acceptable that you have an opinion on it. But to come to a place where an OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of people enjoy (dare I say: love) the DLC, title your thread "Bioware, enough" and expect to get support was a bit nearsighted at best, and downright trollish at worst.
