Some good changes. For those upset about the changes to Edibot she still has her revive skill and that will never change.
The changes just mean that you have to treat Repair Matrix more like a temporary sheild boost - like a stim pack - rather than go crazy and rely on RM to save you .
Interesting that in all the games that I played that had an Edibot I only recall 1 player who played her well and had a high score. She was definately not a good kit as far as improving your skills were concerned .

Not sure about the AIU melee nerfs. I've been playing some silvers with her and found that I could only get one hit kills (edit: w/a cloaked heavy melee, that is) on grunt-level units like assault troopers. Anything with shields like a centurion would require a followup attack or two to finish them.

Oddly enough, I haven't been using the repair matrix unless I find myself in the middle of a bunch of enemies or having to run through them, though I suspect I'll find myself affected by it again.

Ancient Warrior Passive Power (Collector)
- Base Ascension Stance duration increased from 30 to 45 seconds
- Base Ascension Stance damage taken penalty reduced from 20% to 15%
- Evolution 5 Ascension Stance damage taken penalty reduced from 20% to 10%

Blood Pack Punisher SMG
- Base damage increased from [38.2-47.75] to [40.1-50.1]

AIU - I like the nerfs to Repair Matrix.  Hopefully, this will mean less Rambos charging into spawns thinking they are invincible.  I don't like the nerfs to melee - a melee build is an interesting alternative to the usual shotgun build and is not really OP.

Poison Strike - needs a bigger buff to damage to be viable other than as a movement power.

Geth Spitball and BPP - buff is too low to be meaningful.  The Spitball has a lower DPS than advertised because of its ROF is lower than the supposed 800.  The BPP which relies on the AP round is way too inaccurate - there is too high a chance of missing with the AP round unless you are at melee range or shooting a boss unit.

Great work on the other balance changes.

I'm glad Juggernaut wasn't nerfed. He's not as easy-mode as some make him out to be. Good to see his shield getting fixed for Prime shots. I thought it was just classed as energy and not projectile

Wow, so no more weekend ops then? Those were half the reason I kept playing this game for so long, always something to do with my spare time on the weekends. Really didn't expect an end to those so soon, especially after the whole challenge system thing making them easier to do. I hope you guys will at least keep doing balance changes for the foreseeable future, else the sky will really start falling around these parts...

The balance changes otherwise are all fine, glad to see the Venom get some more oomph to it's charge shot. The Spitfire and Punisher still have a ways to go to earn their keep. Glad I didn't respec to try a melee build on the AIU now.

Sad. Lot of new players in the game, I think Bioware may be missing out on some money here. Hope support in terms of balance changes will continue.

I agree, a lot of people just recently started the game, esp. since it was for free on PS plus. Maybe the could at least manage for a monthly operation.

For the most part i am actually quite impressed which is rare with changes. I wasn't even aware the Geth prime pulse going through shields was a glitch. (I figured with it being a Geth shield Geth tech could go through) The Alliance infiltrator has a few saddening downfalls but nothing major and a boost to a few weak weapons. All in all not so bad.

Has it been confirmed that there will be no more weekend operations? I hope not... Thats my fav part of mass effect. If bioware wants to keep an active audience/player base this game's multiplayer should be kept alive and supported until me4 comes out.

LOL @ half the balance changes altering the Omni-Bow.
Overall damage boost of 50 for the changes to AP Arrows !?!?!

Weapon damage buffs are welcome but the Adas and the Venom are still glitchy as hell to use, in my experience.

@Hex Shield change - Yeah I was wondering if this was intended or not since the shield blocks Scion shots. Is AoE supposed to bleed through the shield or is that a bug too ?? And is it just me or do Cannibal grenades bounce of the shield but Cerb grenades pass right through.

My Spectre Mastery is still showing 2/3 even though they all register as completed ?? Re- Edit - Ah it seems that my Medals Earned is indeed stuck at 100% the other 2 subchallenges show that I've completed them twice.

And I see my Squad Elite is still at 112%.

Anyone know if there's some way to get this sorted out ?

End of weekly challenges is very bad and could only be compensated with a buff to the UR drop rate.

Didn't one of the devs make some verbal slip up about so many weeks more of challenges (like 26 or 28 or something) right around new years? If I'm not completely making that up (or giving the poorly remembered comment more import than it really has), then that puts us at about 10-16 weeks more of challenges.

It makes sense that they are slowly winding down different pieces of the project. I would imagine balance changes or challenges would be the last thing to go. For some reason, in my head at least, they seem like the easiest things to keep running on a smallish crew/budget as resources are devoted to new projects. Enough flexibility that it could be extended depending on player interest (i.e. maybe we'll get more balanace changes or challenges than originally planned if there were a sudden uptick in player count or some such).

EDI-bot got nerfed before I could unlock her, ah well, but the rest is all good stuff.

I've already played the Talon a ton, like 150-odd waves. Should be interesting to see how he handles now.

The unknown/unknown addition to Squad Elite is also good.

And nice move on the N7 URs.

If you think the AIU is dead, you're pretty dumb. The nerfs didn't touch her weapon damage output at all, so she's basically just as powerful as she always was.
