So basically the Omni-Bow got boosted sky high and the AIU was nerfed into oblivion...

Don't get me wrong I think the AIU needed some tweaking -- but I was thinking along the lines of changing her Repair Matrix to work like an ops pack instead of a medigel -- you guys nerfed her melee dmg, which was fine. Shame, really.

Nice buffs, although Poison damage from ALL the Cabals poison attacks could have been increased, and the Talon has no hp shield increase but other than that, very nice.

Also mwahahhahahah Sexbot nerf

I'm extremely disappointed to see that the majority of the turian cabal's serious playability issues haven't even been scratched, heck, even mentioned. Is that because they need to be addressed in a patch as opposed to a balance change? I'd really like to know if BioWare believes the cabal needs fixing, as this is the only class I have any interest in playing anymore. If there's no plans to fix those issues, then I have no plans to play MP anymore, which is not what I want. :/

This sums up my feelings; these buffs were almost exactly what I've been asking for for the Collector.



On the other hand, my excitement is tempered by the knowledge that now instead of pulling a Lancer I in a PSP, I'll probably pull a Valiant, or Eagle... :?

Hey,

Limiting AIU created interesting ripple effect -- when you have two (or more) AIU joining the game (for instance Gold) they will get really upset with each-other for lack of grenades. Same goes for any other grenade user. I was in a game where AIU player lost it and was calling people names all the time, plus sadly really lost it at some point and rage quit in wave 11 :/

Definitely interesting outcome this has created.

I can confirm that modifying the coalesced to fix the keybinding issue with the Talon is acceptable. But modifying any other game data is not approved.


Now if I could only unbind x from swap weapons. Then I could use the Talon.

I laugh at the people thinking that this is some HUGE nerf to the AIU, because it's not I was playing her last night after the changes before I even came here to see what they change and the noticeable difference is minor.
In fact the only thing I did notice was the duration reduction. And yes I was on platinum.

However it was needed. But if I had done a nerf myself, I would have just removed the self rez mechanic and reduced the duration and left the rest.

And maybe now the talon will be playable.

Also glad that at least if there isn't going to be anymore ops we can still max out the N7 promos still, well not with my luck but still.

Just a question: How significant is the AIU nerf?
I haven't played her yet since the nerf and I'm asking the question out of curiosity.

Currently I'm having a great experience with the Krogan Sentinel, yes you reaad right the humble Krogan sentinel with incinerate spam and a Graal X ;)

Yeah, I wonder why it didn't just initally get EDI's Defense Matrix instead. Oh well.

The controls issue can't be fixed with a patch, they've already stated that. I believe the skill point bug can be fixed by changing to another character then coming back.

the talons mines where fixed yesterday, only 3 were allowed out at a time and when the forth was thrown the first blew up. Today they are back to glitching and several in active mine are out when using the character, why was this only temporarily fixed? this character is not usable when the mines do not work right.

Cluster grenades.  You're thinking homing nades on the drellfiltrator right?  Yeah it's all about the clusters (mind you I suck at playing drell) on the other drell characters.

alright eric everyone expected the REAL issues with the talon merc to be fixed- do you think you can actually resolve the major issues with the talon merc pls that make the merc unplayable?

How about fixing the keybindings reset like you assured us you would and to ensure that when playing the merc you can actually acces your 6 thermal clippacks ? to not have that option at sit out 2 waves or one at least at start of each game with talon merc is just silly and frustrating are you still going to fix it?

Well done on the collector ascension buff makes collector much less squishy as it deserves to for ultra rare.

Good to see the aiu nerfed just hope you did not nerf it too far.

Increasing the damage of the venom shotgun is ok just do not make it exactly as it is in splayer that would be ridiculously op as it was in splayer.

I glad you did not increase the rof of the adas rifle it well suited for how it is in mplayer we have more than enough rapid rof rifles anyway so this balance things out.

I wanted the cabal adept jumping screen effect fixed have you guys even tested this? it happens REGARDLESS whether hosting or not it not just lag maybe a tiny bit you acknowledge? Nevertheless the biotic focus did need a buff this is very welcome.

Can you explain eric more with the hex shield? does this mean that no powers can penetrate the shield when juggernatu summons it by squadmates or siege pulse power?

If you think the AIU is dead, you're pretty dumb. The nerfs didn't touch her weapon damage output at all, so she's basically just as powerful as she always was.


No shes not. you have 3 basic powers, you nerf 1, you are not as strong as before. its simple.

I mean as a character is dead, the trademark power that distinguised her from other infiltrators was nerfed drastically.
personally, i played about 15-20 games with her and i liked, before the nerf
