I like how you continue to lie about your experience and when people call you on it, you say that N7HQ must have reset your stats.  Nice.  You've had a grand total of 8 Gold extracts since October.  Case closed.

Tell you what...I'm on PS3.  How 'bout you and I meet up in a Platinum lobby?  Or Gold...your choice.  You can bring whatever kit/weapon combo you like, and you can pick the map.  After our match, I'll go ahead and post a cellphone pic of the scoreboard in this thread for all to see.

Just let me know what times work for you and we'll get this done.  Looking forward to it.

Its Sunday now so I'll probably be available all day until around 10:30pm/11pm GMT. As for weekdays, I'm in school until 3pm GMT (sometimes 4pm).

I'm not lying about anything. I did play this game a lot before the October patch and stuff.

Months ago, I posted something here about problems in Mass Effect 3's multiplayer. I got quite a lot of hate from people who probably don't even play it and if they do, they'd agree with me now.

The biggest problem I have with this multiplayer is how I am denied access to content that I rightfully own. The new Reckoning DLC looks great. A playable Geth Prime is just awesome. There's lots of other things that I like and haven't unlocked. But I can only get them by being lucky when opening premium spectre packs. Its very frustrating when I continuously recieve upgrades for weapons, characters, etc. that I don't use. And no-one else feels this? Why? What's one thing you really want(ed) in multiplayer? Do you have it now? How long did it take for you to get it? In addition, its equally frustrating when you have weapons that aren't good until they're fully upgraded and characters that would look better with extra customization. Its not fun at all! But this could be remedied by being able to buy items individually like on Team Fortress 2. Except with in-game credits, of course.

Another problem is the woefully low power of pretty much all weapons in the game. Think about which enemies can kill you quicker than you can kill them. Take into account that there are even more of that enemy plus enemies more powerful than the aforementioned enemy itself. You're probably not gonna survive, even if you're with other people. Unless your weapon can kill twice as fast as all the enemies' weapons except those of boss enemies. Unfortunately, none of the weapons I have can do that in their current status. Its really not fun when I'm shooting enemies with high-power weapons and the health/armour bar is just crawling to 0%. And before anyone tells me to use the Cerberus Harrier or something like that, I don't have any weapons like that. Why's that so? Answer: Read the paragraph above. The simple solution to this would be to decrease health of enemies. And if that would make the game too easy, increase the number of enemies that can be on the ground at once as well.

I'm almost certain that someone will disagree with me. But that would probably be the kind of person who thinks that this stuff would actually make the game less fun rather than more fun. I may now start playing less of Mass Effect 3 and more of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 until I can actually have more fun playing Mass Effect 3.

THEN WHY ARE YOU HERE

Have you tried the Batarian Soldier or Male Quarian Engineer/Infiltrator or Vorcha Soldier/Sentinel or Asari Justicar or N7 Fury?

While it's true that many powers don't do as much damage as the best weapons on their own and many powers are of supportive nature (stasis, tactical scan, ...), there are some real damage-heavy ones (grenades, cain mine, recon mine, flamer, ...). But what you are completely ignoring with "maxed power alone" are power combos. Their damage scales with difficulty and some powers have bonuses to combo damage. There is much more to powers than "hitting an enemy until he dies". You can do that with weapons, sure, but just stupidly throwing your power at the enemy again and again and hoping it will kill him won't get you very far.

I don't see it. I get most weapons and characters pretty quickly. Within a week or so of their release. I have however been looking for a poison shotgun since the new dlc. leveling up basic weapons to X is cheap an simple. Use those and basic characters to earn credits til you get your faves up to snuff. It's a pain getting ammo 6 times in a row buying PSP but if I figure if I could just buy the weaps I wanted when I wanted I might not try out the others and it might get boring fast. However I wouldnt complain if I could. That smal thing doesn't make the game suck.

I'll send a friend request.  That way I can see if you're on when I am.  You say you can breeze through Gold, we can put it to the test.

I am in Europe indeed. UK to be precise. School is closed on Friday so I could stay up late to play then.

Gold is no problem for me. I've been playing it a lot recently. At one point, I was playing against Geth on HAZARD Glacier and we got extracted.

I'd like it if I could get most weapons and characters quickly. I STILL don't have the Cerberus Harrier. But I have pretty much every other UR. Some of them are upgraded.

One day, me and the Cerberus Harrier will be together and destroy everything in my path.

I play multiplayer pretty much a few matches every day with a few breaks of a couple of days or a week since the end of July. I only got the Harrier about 2 months ago. It was actually the last one I got out of all the pre-reckoning weapons. A friend of mine, who plays very rarely and has about 200hrs so far, got the Harrier really early. All just luck, but it made me check out different weapons. And I didn't really want the Harrier because everyone said it was so good, but because it was the only one I didn't have. By now I have it on 5. And I have to say, while I like the damage output, I'm quickly annoyed by having to run to ammo boxes all the time. And I don't like camping next to one. The effect is that I pretty much only use it for the Assault Rifle challenge and when I got the 140k points with it, I immediately change it. For now, I actually want the Particle Rifle more than the Harrier.

PS @Boomzilla8: I got the Venom Shotgun on 4 about a week after the dlc came out :P without even saving up beforehand. Still missing the Lancer and the Spitfire though...

When you start playing any game, you don't get all the weapons, unlockables, or max your skill tree immediately. You have to play it, and ultimately beat it in order to do so. Why should the online component be any different? If you've truly played for the year there's no reason you shouldn't have good stuff unlocked, even if you just played silver. I was away from ME3 for 5 months and still have been able to unlock good stuff that makes playing gold rather simple and enough to be competitive on platinum.

I haven't unlocked the jugg or AIU yet. It's just the way it goes.

If you start playing Skyrim on the PC, you can use codes and stuff to instantly obtain the best items.

Yeah, but that's cheating and not very satisfying. It's as if you'd use a credits glitch to get a ****load of credits on Mass Effect to buy enough packages to get all the rare stuff maxed immediately. The only difference is that  Skyrim is singleplayer and no one cares how you obtain your stuff.

The randomness is also forcing you to experiment with all other weapons, characters, mods and gear and imo that is a good thing. If you could just buy the stuff you want then I would bet my house many people would just run around with 1 or 2 guns and 1 character.

I like it that people complain games are hard.... I like my games hard and to be a burden for my brain. Maybe that is because I am from the C64, Amiga, NES generation... those games where truly hard and unforgiving. Games these days have to be monkey proof so that any one can jump right in and be a Demi-God.

Thank god for ME3 MP .... you first enter and then you suck and then you die.

Hey op i don't know if u realize this but all the guns in this game can be used on gold an do good if u know to use them an the powers an as far as making it easier to get upgrades when u go 100 psp packs without any ur then talk to me but after all those packs i get 3 ur upgrades with 500 thousands Im happy with that sometimes u get lucky most times not but i think ur real problem is u haven't taking the time to learn how to play the kits or weapons. I don't play the game got the guns i play bc its fun

Well experimenting with other stuff is not great. Last night I played a game as a Geth Infiltrator with a M-97 Viper IV. It was so tedious to play because it took 3 shots to kill CANNIBALS. I even had mods, gear, etc. that increased the damage of the weapon. So I don't think I'll use Sniper Rifles ever again. Except the Collector Rifle. When I use different set ups I usually don't perform well.
