The overall design of the multiplayer is quite poor, and incredibly abstract (the invisible Brute melee hitbox? Yeah). Unfortunately, things like enemies having tons of health and sync-killing are band-aids used as an attempt to cover up the glaring design flaws. Enemies have zero sense of self-preservation or intelligent AI (among many other things), so they get tons of health and damage, the ability to see through walls, and irregular, unnaturally quick/weightless movement patters to compensate. If the core design was done properly, there would be more organic (and fun) methods to balancing the game.
No need. Players already have powers, power combos, and teammates to exploit said power combos.
