While i agree that there are alot of garbage weapons in the game, there is afew that are really good even at 1.
Ive seen people do amazing things with various wpns in me3; javeling killstreak, oneshot brutes, and many more, so they can't be THAT bad.
Chances are that if you just started, then even if you were to start with all wpns at 10, you would still fail horribly at the higher difficulties. I remember my own first bronze game, i got pewned instant and felt i would never ever be good enough for silver.
Now i can take a soldier armed only with predator pistol and rock silver.
And if you really dislike ALL the weapons then id advise you to use the power classes.
classes like eg. the classic Human Adept is platinium viable without equipping any weapons at all, and i would be able to take this class to any diff even if my manifast were wiped.

When this is said, id say that if you need all the awesome wpns to have fun, there might be a chance that you even with theese wpns, wont have fun in the game.
I had great fun when i started(eventho i had no wpns), and i still have great fun.

I haven't just started. I've had this game since it was released. Probably longer than anyone else here. I even played the multiplayer demo early via a Battlefield 3 promo.
I don't dislike ALL the weapons but there is only a few weapons I have which I really like. Also, I actually completed my first platinum match with the Human Adept. I got almost no kills but I did manage by spamming Warp or whatever he has. I think the Human Adept has a support role more than anything else.
Like I said, I, unfortunately, don't have any of the powerful weapons than can just mow down enemies.

Oh really? What do you think kills faster? Harrier X or Incinerate spamming?

Incinerate+Overload
Lots of explosions!
Okay, not sure if it will kill faster than a Harrier (I personally do not like that gun), but it sure is more fun... to me, at least...
Just saying. I love explosions...

Even though the store isnt great.

The problem here seems to be with you, not the game.

Why is that?

There was a piece a while back on a Charlie Brooker BBC programme about gaming. The guy who wrote 'Father Ted' (Graham Linehan) was complaining about video games locking out content but on a far more basic scale.

He felt that gaming is the only media where you are forbidden from skipping sections. When reading a novel or watching a movie or listening to an album, it never just stops and says "No, you didn't appreciate that enough. Read/watch/listen to it again until you do, then you can read/watch/listen to the next bit."

With games, until you are proven competent, you will not progress to the next stage, despite paying for that content. But that's part of the game I suppose. Jeopardy is required.

I have no problem in Bronze or Silver. Just Gold and Platinum. There is a MASSIVE jump between Silver and Gold.

Your problem is skill based, not weapon based. Great weapons can only supplement a poor skill level a little bit. Certianly not enough for you to make the jump from silver to gold. There are vids of people duoing platinum with avengers.

Bottom line here is that even with a harrier 10, i highly doubt you would be worth anything on gold, if you are not able to contribute with a lesser weapon and the right build.

I love explosions too but only if they kill enemies in a large radius quickly.

I heard almost exactly the same thing by comedian Dara O' Briain when he was talking about video games at a stand-up comedy event.

This sounds more like Dara O'briain's stand up routine about gaming

With the mediocre AI, there doesn't seem to be much skill involved in this game. All you have to do is shoot and avoid enemies. Higher difficulties only increase enemy health, weapon damage and frequency.

Your lack of knowledge betrays your lies.

If you think that the classic human adept is only good for spamming warp and are a support class then you have defently not played Me3 Multiplayer alot.
And lying about it does'nt help your arguments a whole lot.

If you don't have all the weapons you shouldn't be making sweeping generalizations about how there aren't any good weapons in the game.

If the ai is mediocre, and no skill is required, then I don't see any problem here. It has already been proven people can complete the highest difficulties with the basic weapons everyone gets at the beginning.

Eh?
I genuinely completed a platinum match once using a Human Adept. I don't play as the Human Adept so I wouldn't know what it's role actually is. I was very suprised of the effectiveness of him on PLATINUM challenge.

I agree that the RNG store can be quite annoying at times, but that
doesn't seem to be the issue here. You can't just walk into a game
like this and expect to be the best without any investment... All you
are doing is coming across like an entitled brat. You didn't even pay
for the multiplayer DLC.

Unlocking new kits/guns/etc is part of the fun in the game. With games like
Skyrim, you still have to put some effort to get abilities (like
perks at the end of a skill tree) or items (from the end of a quest
line or a boss). ME3 MP is similar to this (but with a little added
zest of RNG).

You also need to take time to learn the game. If you toss someone who is
not very good into a gold/plat match by themselves, a maxed manifest
will not save them.

My advice to you is to go out and find some friends to play with –
games become a lot more fun, and not just a grind for credits. Try
themed matches or use a randomizer.

uh, no.  i'll attest some weapons make the game go quicker, but some characters don't really need weapons to dole out massive damage.  just another troll who wants to be cute.

I'm not expecting to be the best without any investment. But it takes an outrageous amout of investment to be worth a damn. I know this game very well. I've played it since it was realeased on 9th March 2012. Probably longer than anyone else here. And finding people to play with is not a good idea since most people I play with are crap and do not follow orders. The only order I ever give out is telling people to move somewhere so that they don't get killed. There is a lot of low-mentality players here.
