Half of the CoDs fanbase are young kids whose parents won't allow them to get good shooters because they are too young and a lot of these so-called "gamers" judge by the graphics rather than actual fun and gameplay now.

Final Fantasy 6 remake in the same fashion as the PSP FF4 one would be good. I don't think it needs to go 3d. FF7 however I would actually prefer untouched. SE would be tempted to alter too much and I don't trust them anymore.

I'd like a Vagrant Story remake, but Motomu Toriyama must stay away from it's development. Hmm it would be nice if CDPR somehow obtained it's license then made a Vagrant Story remake, but they'll have to kidnap the original dev team(DX:HR style) along with Alexander O.Smith, and Hitoshi Sakimoto for maximum success.

I was thinking of Vagrant Story, but it would be so easy to ruin the game IMO that I think I'd prefer it left untouched. With the right people on board though as you say maybe it has potential.

Is that the prerequisite for remakes for you?

I can not think of any better reasons for a remake personally. KotOR has only minor design issues.

A remake of KotOR 2 would be good though. KotOR 2 is a disaster in its current state.

KOTOR II isn't a disaster and both games graphic and gameplay is fine. Plus their voice acting is perfect.

Kotor 2 is headed in the right direction comes to feats, force abilities, Lightsaber forms and Force forms and crafting.

So why not have Kotor 1 has some Kotor 2 game play elements while making it unique.
