What do you think about the nerf of AIU?, Do you think the character is ruined or do you think the nerf was needed?

Being stupid and reckless sometimes is fun. And you could do it and not hurt your team.   Now every random you see with it needs to be revived all the time.   The DR and shield nerfs were ok, but they should have let the duration alone.  They are basicly slow stimpacks now.  

A class that encouraged you to run around and be more aggresive than you would be otherwise...was fun and interesting.  And it's not like her damage output was better than any of the other top classes  (Most infiltrators can out DPS her, and at longer ranges actually).

Now she is basicly a ghost with range issues. It's not really bad, just not as interesting as it was.  Now you can just play a ghost, grab a harrier and do the same damage at much longer ranges. And your defensive skills are basicly equivilent except yours does more damage.

Meh never really liked playing EDI anyways. Just sad there's less butt hurt around here. Was really hoping to see these forums burning with teenage angst when I logged on.

She is still a tool of destruction, played two gold games with her, top score with 160k points, easy extraction and I used one medigel, it couldn't be more peaceful.

But she can be played as aggresively now as she was before, you just need to exert a little bit more effort in timing when to use your RM to restore shieldgate which you can still do even while cloaked. Honestly, her survivability was already similar the TGI even before the nerf. I think she has far better mobility though in terms of speed and dodge.
You keep bringing out the word "interesting" but it seems all you are pointing out is that to make her "interesting", you should be able to spam RM all the time.

I just read the balance changes, pretty overboard.
Instead of nerfing 3 defensive things so much just 1 would've been enough.

Pretty lame Bioware.

Edit: just did the poll, could this redJohn twit write one any more stupid and biased.. I'm pretty sure my 12 year old niece could write a better one. I chose the nerf gone too far option and due to the terribly written poll you could probably put half the middle options into the top one which indicates it was way too far. 

If anything just some of the shield regeneration and the damage reduction should've been in the "balances".
Duration kept in for obvious reasons already stated, reducing duration so much with the shield regeneration was dumb. Melee left as is, so what if it's strong from cloak, most use shotgun anyway. So tired of things being nerfed heavily in games. Ideally leave every thing as is but remove auto-repair to keep the cry babies quiet lol.

People got what they asked for, there's no point complaining now that it wasn't what you wanted.

Haven't played her since the nerf as she wasn't my fave new character before. I will say this, if i see someone else playing AIU in a lobby i will switch characters if necessary to make sure mine needs no grenades.

Don't feel or care either way, I don't play infiltrators all that much anymore, too boring and repetitive.

She's fine. Auto revive is still intact...the rest of the bonuses were just icing on the cake.

Anybody who is a half decent player will still do good with this character. I really did not see any issues before the nerf.
