The best armor in the entire ME Trilogy? Not in terms of stats of course...

Mass Effect 1: Either the Heavy Colossus X or the Heavy Predator X, both looked great and had great stats.
Mass Effect 2: The Kestrel Armor set with the helmet.
Mass Effect 3: A mix of recon hood, Hahne-Kedar chest plate, Armax Arsenal shoulder pads and arms, and Kassa Fabrication greaves.
But if I had to pick Colossus H X, miss that heavy armor with the beefy stats, with the shield x upgrade and ablative plate x upgrade my soldier Shepard in ME1 was a Geth colossus killing tank on foot.

No you are not alone. Couldnt play Mass Effect without it.Herthan wrote...
Am I the only one who thinks the Kuwashii Visor looks badass...? Come on...it's a Shepard essential.
I liked the visor.
I had Shepard wear it during the Suicide Mission, and for a few missions in ME3 as well.

classic Medium Onyx ftw

The medium Oynx was my favorite for Shepard in Mass Effect 1.

Looks like armor an engineer would wear and I have always been a fan of the armor since I first saw it on Kaidan and Vega.

Wow, just remembering how great the classic Onyx looks. I just love the geometry - on the armor, too
It looks spacey, yet protective enough to pass as combat armor. Good times...

Gotta say, the N7 Defender, just cause it looks badass. Shame the stats are a bit lame.
Is there a way to switch one armors stats for anothers? Like, switch the defenders stats for the collectors armor stats?
You can give it the stats of all the armours combined, if you want. You just need to edit the coalesced.ini.

Thanks, do you know where I could find that?

I hate how the visor isn't illuminated anymore, or how the mouthpiece doesn't light up when Shepard talks.

ME1: Onyx X Heavy Armor, No Helmet.
ME2: N7 Armor (with the extra ammuntion packs on the right arm and leg) No Helmet.
ME3: N7 Armor, No Helmet.
If I had to pick one that wasn't these, I'd go with the Cerberus Assault Armor in ME2/3.
I know, I'm pretty boring.

In ME3 I wish I could get some skin mods for the Cerberus Atlas Armor. Instead I use N7 armor with sentry interface

ME2: Blood Dragon armor
ME3: N7 Defender (vega's armor but the one that shepard gets from preordering in gamestop in USA)
If I had to pick I think it's clear which I would go with

No helmet.
Kassa Fabrication - Chest
Rosenkove Materials - Shoulders
Hahne-Kedar - Arms
N7 Greaves - Legas
Material - 1
Pattern - 3
Pattern color - White
Tint 1 - Black
Tint 2- Black
Lights - light blue or cyan
And that's my standard set up. It's my favorite set of armor in the entire trilogy.

I like femshep in her underwear. I played a whole playthrough like that. Manshep in his underwear fighting the Reapers is cool too. There nothing more badass than saying: "eat my shorts Harbinger". Also playing the game in underwear while Shep is in his underwear helps to set up the immersion. You are Shepard!

It was nice to see a set got a recoloured cameo with Tela Vasir in LoTSB. A little throwback to a cut set of armor.
In ME2, I was quite fond of the Inferno Armour. It had boosts that were handy to my Soldier, and looking like a ME-era Iron Man wasn't too shabby. The Terminus Armour got some points for colour-scheme.
I was also fond of my custom armour, consisting of the Shield Interface, Aegis Vest, Asymmetric Defense Layer, alternating between the Kestrel Arm Sheathing and Off-Hand Ammo Pack, and Life Support Webbing with a gloss black finish and standard red Pattern 1. I was a bit disappointed to find the ADL and OHAP missing and all but the Sentry Interface useless in ME3.
In ME3? I'm also quite partial to the Defender, though the fact that the shoulder pads tilt forward all the time bugs me a bit. The option to remove the helmet permanently would also be appreciated, although it looks quite cool when fully enclosed in vacuum segments.
The Ariake Tech Chestplate and Greaves, coupled with the Sentry Interface. Armax Arsenal shoulder plating, and alternating between the Armax, Ariake and Hahne-Kedar arm plating with a dark-red Pattern 2, black (no) lights, gloss black primary colour and grey secondary is also quite appealing. The Terminus Armour is awesome as always.
But if we can allow crossovers from other games, then the N7 RIG from DS3 trumps all of the armours in the trilogy. A hybrid of the Heavy Onyx and Defender armours with a collapsible helmet? Yes please!
