Just wanna point out that Arsenal pack drop rate appears to be around 15%. Shaves off a few hours, but the numbers are still terrifying.

A 33% drop rate per PSP would be nice. Level IV ammo is driving me insane.

Leave the drop rate as it is.

How about no?

At this point in the game's life cycle it'd be nice to be able to make progress on these. New players face an even larger hill to climb. As it is, the current system isn't making anyone happy. By upping the drop rate the only ones you risk alienating are those who have maxed their manifest - all five of them.

double the UR drop or increase it at least.

is frustrating with everything maxed out but the last UR weapons to still get gear and not the weapons. i have about 75 of each lvl VI gear and keeps giving me more and not the weapons. Even with medigels rockets etc maxed out..

Frustrating and not fun at all

Also, some of us still remember how Uncommon gear had an absurd, beyond-ultra-rare drop rate before they fixed it after months of complaining...

Bioware should just give everyone a harrier x as a goodbye parting gift since its the only fricking weapon people use and rest completely ignored.

1.386*10^3 platinum games.

1.5246*10^4 waves of platinum (no failures)

all to have every gun at its max level... even though you'll likely use 5% of those weapons at most.

silly? yes. very. silly enough for scientific notation. this was EA's idea, no?

I think 25 minutes for an average platinum game may be generous, For those of us who PUG platinum, there is usually at least one player on the team who does very little, so it takes at least 30 minutes.

I have to agree that the UR drop rates are quite discouraging for me. Before the latest DLC, I had all of the UR weapons at around half their level. I actually saved up 6 million for the new DLC and while I did have fairly good UR drop rate when spending the credits, I didn't get a single one of the new URs. Now with the Promo weapons in the URs pool, my chances of getting the weapons I'm missing is even lower. :/

Its gonna kill a lot of people's interest in the game. Before the latest dlc and this balance change I was interested in and had a chance to max my manifest. Now I could not care less.

I would endorse a UR pack for 500k that had nothing but a single ultra rare.

I didn't want to cause problems with the supr1337pro players on these forums who can get them done in 15 minutes. My Platinum matches are only 25 minutes on a good day too.

Which of course means that manifest maxing would take even longer.

If I could unlock everything a few days after release, it wouldnt be fun. leave the drop rates alone. Decide to play another game if thats too much of a commitment for you.

Keep in mind beginners would probably start on plat, realize how lost they where, and then immediately return to bronze/silver until they had unlocked better equipment, and figured out how the game works. Which bumps your time up even further.

Right, exactly. Do you have any idea what my manifest looked like before I even stepped foot into a Gold lobby?

It was like... Black Widow I, Scorpion I and a Saber I. That was it. Those were all the URs I had just from playing Bronze and Silver.

All I know is, I'm all for this taking hard work and dedication, but my God, this is just too extreme. Back when it was only 80 it was okay, but now... it isn't. There's way too much in the pool. I didn't get the Collector SMG until a week before Reckoning hit. I just kept unlocking stuff I already had. (I didn't get the Harrier until after Earth and the Typhoon until after it got nerfed, either) Simply because there was already too much in the pool. There were still only 120 URs. Now there are 210.

He has a point, part of maxing your manifest is the warm fuzzy feeling of accomplishment you get cause its so hard, upping the drop rate could really hurt that warm fuzzy feeling. On the other hand, you also have a point. Meh, Add in a pack that gives one UR upgrade, but costs BW points only, or a low BW point cost and high credit cost, somewhere in the region of 1.5 mil, for those like me who have to spend around 2.5 mil for a single UR.

The MP for this game runs on a version of Skinner Box operant conditioning. The game itself is fairly stale and has pretty much grown boring for many. The idea of chasing near impossible unlocks in not something most people do because it is fun, it is something they do because of Skinner Box psychological effects.
