Are you asking whether there will be another DLC for DA2 before the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition?
It's very, very unlikely.

Yes that was my question and I felt that was probably the case. It saddens me.

With the expansion cancelled sometime ago, i am afraid to say thats all folks. It would have no doubt tied people over till the next game. As with the dlc DA2 was a much improved game and getting closer to what it should have in the first place. The expansion would have rounded it off nicely. But whats done is done and hopefully the sacrifice of the expansion will be worth it.
But it is a pity to leave Hawke's story on a cliffhanger of an ending never to be resolved. Thats just the impression the ending leaves me with anyhow.

If we're talking about tieing up the loose ends with Hawke's story, I'd prefer it done in a "Leliana's Song"-esque DLC, which has a totally self-contained plotline, unrelated to the protagonist's own.
Heck, you could even have the framing device where "Leliana's Song" is being told in The Hanged Man by Leliana, leading Varric to offer their own tale about Hawke? Winner of the best tale pays for the drinks?
After all, why not? Why give Leliana the special treatment?

That would be a good idea for such a dlc.

I guess it's always possible there could be a hawk dlc, but then only after a really successful DA3.

They said they found something that made them rethink their plan for DA2's expansion and move them towards DA3.
Basically they got their hands on the frostbite engine and decided that their time would be better spent perfecting it for DA3 instead of finishing the DA2 expansion.
I believe it is the right move, but I still wish that they gave us something that tied up the story, like a Starkhaven version of Mark of the Assassin.

Nah, they cancelled the DA2 expansion because the game is widely regarded as a flop.
