lol. I started playing this game about 8 months before RPs or APs even existed. Block buying of PSPs is old news.

Not that that should theoretically affect UR drop rate, obviously.

I've played this game for 800 hours on two different platforms and a 10 pack streak with no URs is nothing uncommon. I've gone 4 million credits with nothing but ammo on at least two separate occasions.


me too, i quit te store for three weeks once after getting 0 in 4 million then i decided to try the store and if i recall got 6 in 5 or it was 7 UR in 6 psps, one a double.

but the 0 for 4 mill about pushed me off the game

so i'd like a pak and im guessing events are done now for the weekends?

@Pugz 1.2 million after today's games and no UR.

I agree with what your saying about saving but more for psychological reasons.

If the store is truly rng then it doesn't matter much if you buy one pack or ten but in terms of spirit it's better to go on a big save then big spree and at least gave something to show for it.

But I've dropped 2.2 million in a sitting before and got only one UR from it so it's not a safer option really, and as I said just today 1.2 million got me no URs.

As someone who was only 5 URS from maxed before reckoning (pre-reckoning maxed now) I don't know that I'd support a UR box, only that this system could be improved upon for the next game and be better for us and better monetized for bioware and their evil whip cracking masters

saving up a million urs would talk me at least 2 or 3 weeks, and considerably longer if i buy JEPs and [naturally] won't be tempted to buy some stuff in the middle. Just saving a milion or more straight up is hard for me, especially since silver.




Move up to gold.  





Check my manifest of weaponry, realize I need one silver for JEPs, and then use at least 2-3 medigels and rockets a gold and tell me to move up to gold again. I play maybe 3-5 golds a weekend to my 10-25 silvers and maybe one or two, three on the weekdays compared to the copious amounts of silver which i need and spend on Veteran and 99k packs.



I hate to sound like a douche but you are asking for an UR pack, you have only put in 95 hours and 313 games.  You are missing PLENTY of UNCOMMON and RARE weapons.  You need to max all those out before you even begin to worry about UR's.  Not having those maxxed just means one more thing that will pop up in a 99k pack that isn't UR.

I have put in over 1800 games and I am not maxed yet...think an UR pack would kind of say to the veterans of the game...hey guys thanks for logging in all the hours that kept the MP going but we are just going to give away weapons now.  I know people with way more time than me who aren't maxed yet.  But again, all I can suggest is maxing your lower weapons first before trying for UR's.

I'd understand a balance of a 3million good streak and then 3 million bad to even possibly really bad streak, but i got 2urs in 1week and then none for 2 months then 2 in a week. I don't think it balances out in my favor.
That and I don't really want promo weapons as much as the normal URs. Hurricane is nice but I find the CSMG more fun personally; eagle is decent with ROF increasing classes and amps [much prefer my other pistols], valkyrie is actually one of my favorite ars [my only ur ar is a typhoon i] but i heard it REALLY REALLY loses out to the UR ARs and i don't have the rest of the Promos but I heard the valiant loses majorly to blackwidow and crusader is a hitscan shotgun with both lovers and haters.

I don't mind playing Gold/Platinum regularly for credits but the game stops being fun when its all about "I need credits, let's speed run". I'd like it to go back to being fun and playing for the sake of playing. But nope, I gotta get those URs like everyone else.

20% extraction bonus would be nice change at this point.

When I played silver.. you could not even buy a spectre pack after 2 silver games.

At least there was some improvement over time.

Actually maxed out miy common weapons a while ago and am most of the way there with uncommons. That and you won't get an uncommon instead of a rare/ultra rare in a UR pack, though you may get it instead of consumables. Rare maxing? i've been working on it but with the huge pool of it, it my take me a while. I'm not quite asking to max my URs, but I would much like to try a harrier on my account before the game completely dies on me or gets it's servers shutdown or the like.
Also, I'd add another 50-55 games that got dropped due to some kind of lag/disconnects to Origin/Host/ME3, but those don't count i guess.

I think i have said this several times, but since theres a nice bioware tag on this topic here it is again: I dont mind the drop rates as they are but i wish they would prioritize new stuff versus upgrades. I would like to enjoy all the content rather than old content thats slightly better. Thats why even though people say that the spitfire sucks i get rabid because i cant make that judgement for myself, its also why i despise my hurricane 9 and desperately want a valkyrie.

No it doesn't because I enjoy playing the GAME lol.  Maxed or not...I will play regardless.  I am not playing to just get all my weapons to X and call it quits.

Mentioning this too, I'd prefer a level I UR over most of my level I-level V rares or level VIII-X Uncommons.

like i said, before i wanted to aquire the M7 Lancer, but now that i have modified my M-8 Avenger with the Stabilizer, aquiring the M7 Lancer isn't a concern to me now, as i am liking my newly upgraded M-8 Avenger VII

Aye, increasing the drop chance for Level 1 URs alone would be great. That way most people get to at least use the weapons (but still not at the calibre of players who invest a lot more time).

On my destroyer or Tsol, it's literally the best weapon I have for gold and it's REALLY fun to shoot atlases with it. The constent downstream of bullets and the sound of the canopy shattering until it dies is so much fun that I can't even begin to describe how fulfilling it is

I wouldnt go that low for myself...closer to 5%

(and for the maths) I have 106 UR Weapon slots (40 belonging to Reckoning URs which I have yet to get even 1 of...)Now I'm going to go with SPs and Gold matches since I seem to have better luck with them. This means I need aprox 20 successful games per UR or 2120 games at aprox 25min (my gold average) a piece. That is another 883 hours of play time to max (or about 220 to ensure at least a level 1 of everything in even distribution).

add this to my 1296H 43M 37S (as of this post) thats going to push past the 2100 (1520) hour mark.

now I can either complain about a game and an RNG store that seems bent on breaking my will, or I can see it as a challenge and venture forth hoping that the RNG gods will take pity on me (or drop rates will be significantly adjusted ).

Im with him...i posted my cold spell in december...7m credits without an UR.

I don't agree with a pack that has a guaranteed UR, but up the drop rate, this gets kind of ridiculous at times.

Earlier we were guaranteed a promo weapon every week just for completing a challenge (luckily 3 for the last). Assuming that promos were, on an average, better that URs, I was assured of getting a good weapon every week, considering that I play mostly on weekends. But now I am not sure how many weeks I have to play to get anything decent.

Actually, as someone wrote somewhere, they're between rare and ultra rare in qualities since they're easier to obtain than URs, but the Hurricane is thought to be better than every UR and non UR smg.

450+ hours and I'm only halfway through my URs. Today's changes confirmed that I'll never max my manifest. Now I have completed my Best of the Best, the last thing remaining is to play for fun and for eventual manifest. I don't see much chance of getting the manifest, I have unlocked almost everything, which is ok I guess. I just hope there's enough coins left in the pot to keep the servers turned on for a few more months - or at least until we can get news of the next ME multiplayer venture.

Well I haven't experienced it personally that long of a dry spell, however my dad, who also plays ME3MP, did purchase 39 PSP with no URs.  I know this as a fact because he was keeping track and would go into a mini-rage after each purchase.  Since he's mostly a silver player his frustration is rather understandable.  He would play three to four game, an average time played of an hour basicially, and doing this for 39 PSP and nothing to show for.  That's over 39 hours he played until he broke that particular streak to get just ONE UR.

Even assuming that there is a 5% UR drop rate, a 1 in 20 chance, there is still the likelyhood of that the 'luck element' of statistics can bend that 5% to be more like .5%.

I don't think MP will die, but it'll definitely lose popularity. Besides, like everyone else, I'd like to have a maxed manifest before the end of the decade....
