I like Jack but can't stand Thane or Liara.

Either way, love Jack in ME3.

I don't dislike any of them really. Honestly. I even like Jacob.

As a character she's colourful and damaged enough to be interesting in ME2.
But I do prefer her in ME3 when she's got her act together.

I think she would be lesser if we didn't get to see her change (ie only saw her ME3 personality).

I loved her in 2. In 3, while I was glad to see her grow and change for the better I felt that having her teaching kids was a bit of a stretch.

I agree for the most part but saying that, she needed something to ground her like shepard did (assuming you romance her) in ME2. While training kids in the Alliance is a bit of a stretch, I really cant come up with an alternative.

She's not as bad in ME3 as she was in ME2 though. In ME2 it's like they were trying too hard to make her a "bad girl"

The bad girl image was a facade and was only really used to keep people at a distance. You start to come to this conclusion as she is romanced.

While the romance makes this obvious, its quite clear even if you're just nice to her.
And given her childhood and abuse of her biotic powers, I think becoming a teacher and protector of biotically-gifted kids is actually the perfect fit for her

Jack is bald, so she's a bad character..... Kasumi too. She's obviously bald and inferior as well.Gangnam Style wrote...

Personally I would have liked to see a regression in her attitude with the absence of shepard. Being in the Alliance just seems a little far fetched. But seeing that aspect of her (in the Alliance) wasn't all that bad.
Of course this is merely my opinion.
