Yup, she was a little too pissed off in ME2. 


I began to truly love her after the Citadel DLC, when she said "I can wake up just peachy!"

I like Jack. However, I have some problems with her presentation in 3. Her teacherly position basically has no justification. Oh, sure, she spouts some line about how being on Shepard's squad influenced the Alliance into offering her the position. But really, Alliance? You're going to offer a teaching position to someone who professes to enjoying killing and has a list of crimes who knows how long? I don't buy it. I think it would have worked better if she were more like--I don't know--a patient at Grissom, I guess, for lack of a better term. They could have been helping her get over her issues and then when Cerberus hit, she could've just kind of taken the leadership position because they were all cut off from Kahlee.

On topic, I do actually like Jack(in ME3 at least.)

 The bad girl image was a facade and was only really used to keep people at a distance. You start to come to this conclusion as she is romanced.

 

While the romance makes this obvious, its quite clear even if you're just nice to her.

And given her childhood and abuse of her biotic powers, I think becoming a teacher and protector of biotically-gifted kids is actually the perfect fit for her

 Personally I would have liked to see a regression in her attitude with the absence of shepard. Being in the Alliance just seems a little far fetched. But seeing that aspect of her (in the Alliance) wasn't all that bad. 

 Of course this is merely my opinion. 

 

Fair enough. To me the whole point of her character arc was taking what she learnt from Shepard and applying it in her own life and not needing Shep as a moral compass/crutch.

The f**ked up thing is, people have these funny little things in their heads called opinions. Yours is different from mine, and mine is different from someone else's.

Literally every single time you ask "does anyone...",  the answer will statistically be "yes".

I like Jack, but you don't need me to say that. Out of the millions who have played Mass Effect, I'm sure someone likes her. So why bother asking this question at all?

I actually respect that, at least you're not one of those fake people who only like Jack just because of her look and attitude change from ME2 to ME3. That being said, I love Jack in ME2 and ME3.

Jack is pretty cool. I don't like Cortez and Vega (like the people I actually didn't want to invite were already invited, nice job Joker). Didn't mind Jacob in Mass Effect 2, though I feel like he's gone soft in ME3. I pretty much appreciate all of the other squadmates.

I like Jack a lot, but I can't STAND Jacob. I couldn't stand Liara in ME1 either.
