The Omni-Bow is now as it should be... insanely powerful, has a great streamlined feel, and very induvidual.

The kit really doesn't even need a weapon... nor does it need Grenade Capacity gear if you took the rank 6a Charge Regen evolution.

I haven't even fooled with Concussive Arrows yet... but just AP arrows and Cain Mines were enough to obliterate the enemy. I fired my Geth Plasma Shotgun maybe 20 times in a match... it was redundant. AP arrows were enough to OSK Gold Marauders... 2 of them brought a Brute down to where one GPS shot was all that was needed.

FWIW I was using Power Amp IV, Shock Trooper Gear (which I would swap out for Hydraulic Joints next time), Strength Enhancer III and Disruptor Ammo (for shield stripping bosses). Full melee spec of course.

He's a super awesome kit now... maybe even the best one from Reckoning.

Conc Arrows are stupid fun on the little guys. I got to use a Phantom for skeet shooting earlier because of them.

Definitely agree, though. He's even more fun to play now that he's been brought up to par.

Cain Mines on the chokepoints around known spawns... shoot all the things with AP arrows while you run around to ammo boxes.

My main gripe with the guy was that he was so squishy when melee specced and sucked so bad in CQC... that I couldn't keep him alive. Now that anything he shoots with AP arrows pretty much dies... he rocks in CQC b/c whatever gets in his way is dead from shot from the Bow.

I'm sure you probably know all this... and are trolling me Image IPB

What's your build with him using Conc Arrows?

I want to try them out.... but the raw boss killing potential of AP arrows is something I find very appealing.

On paper they look inferior... debuffing/setting up tech bursts doesn't sound as good as killing things outright.

However... there is an evo at rank 5 to increase damage 100% from electrical DOT or something like that. I need to fool around with it so I can make an informed opinion.

I was very impressed with the AP arrows though.

This guy is great... and is a blackhole for my respec cards. Keep trying out new builds to test out every possible way to evolve his arrows.

AP with no C-arrows appears the be the most damaging, but I'm wondering if the C-arrows have better utility (they fling phantoms, which is fun, but more importantly they stagger every single enemy that can be staggered.)

I like to go with Damage & Force, Chill, and Grenade Capacity. Just watching anything that isn't a massive boss get tossed around makes me giggle. Marauders? Pfft, Sent into orbit. WHERE ARE YOUR SHIELDS NOW, SUCKA?!

Right now I've specced into the AP Arrows and holy god...things just melt. It's beautiful.

I'm currently trying out a 6/5/5/4/6 builds. I don't find much point in Rank 6 of AP and Conc arrows extra nades is something he Talon doesn't need and I find he already does enough damage withou the 20% increase from the extra arrow.

Concussive arrows are fun, but vastly inferior to AP ones.

Full consumables for melee = gold Scion requires 2x heavy melee to go down with AP arrows. Maybe 3, if you don't shoot your weapon between melees.

me not sure what arrow is the better. now that the "melee" arrow is powerful at last i don't think the concussive arrow has any meaning. but i don't know...

edit: in narida builder, the damage and force values are per arrows?

Yeah... I guess the kit needs more playtime to find out what you can/can't OSK will AP/Conc arrows with just 5 ranks.

Anything that can OSK a full health/shields Marauder from across the map is $$$$$$$.... but if I can get away with it with 5 ranks, that would be great too.

The AP Arrows are probably better all around. The Conc Arrows are just really, really fun to play with. (Even if they aren't as effecient at killing big things)

Did you take the 100% Electrical DOT evo? I'm interested in finding out more about the power of Concussive Arrows... but I won't be able to until much later today. I need to know if they can OSK Phantoms/Possessed Captains specifically... those are the benchmarks I'm most interested in.

25 + (25 * 1.5) = 62.5 < 75

Which means that max CA with shock evolution will not outdamage maxed AP arrows even vs shields//barriers (single target) (unless vs sabotaged target) ..

The purpose of the DOT arrows seems to be delaying shield//barrier recharge over a large AOE ...
