Yes... they will block the Bow. This is one of the major reasons why I recommended the GPS/Venom...

So are concussive arrows inferior to AP arrows now? I want to know because as of now one of the only definite fixes for the thermal clip bug is to skip one of the arrows completely.

Really? Cause I was thinking of skipping Concussives anyways. If that fixes that problem then that's just fine.

25 + (25 * 1.5) = 62.5 < 75

Which means that max CA with shock evolution will not outdamage maxed AP arrows even vs shields//barriers (single target) (unless vs sabotaged target) ..

The purpose of the DOT arrows seems to be delaying shield//barrier recharge over a large AOE ...

I think the Chill arrows actually end up doing more damage (compared to the electric arrows that is)

has anyone tried skipping cain mines yet? i know they're powerful, but if the arrows are as good as people are claiming, sounds like it's worth a try. stupid rng store won't give me any spec cards.

Just tried your exact build.

Meh.

GPS is awful. Can't headshot bosses. Not satisfying to use.

Needs more Claymore.

The bow was definitely nice though.

Can't you just carry an scorpion or acolyte for phantoms and bring a proper shotgun? Wraith seems like a decent option to me.

It was my first instinct... to take a stagger weapon in case of Phantoms so they couldn't block the bow (besides the Graal and its off-host issues). I was running the dirtbag Piranha on him before b/c he was deficient in CQC... you can probably run any good shotgun on him now.

I was using the Bow for bosses mostly... and the GPS to get rid of their shields. I imagine anything with Disruptor/Phasic ammo would be good... I'm happy I finally found someone to burn Disruptor IV ammo on.

Are you are certain phantoms block arrows from point blank range ? Makes sense they block them from long range - at point blank there might be a chance they don't get time to react ? (similar to how submission net catches phantoms at point range every time but is useless vs them at med-long range ?)

The Omni-Bow is now as it should be... insanely powerful, has a great streamlined feel, and very induvidual.

The kit really doesn't even need a weapon... nor does it need Grenade Capacity gear if you took the rank 6a Charge Regen evolution.

I haven't even fooled with Concussive Arrows yet... but just AP arrows and Cain Mines were enough to obliterate the enemy. I fired my Geth Plasma Shotgun maybe 20 times in a match... it was redundant. AP arrows were enough to OSK Gold Marauders... 2 of them brought a Brute down to where one GPS shot was all that was needed.

FWIW I was using Power Amp IV, Shock Trooper Gear (which I would swap out for Hydraulic Joints next time), Strength Enhancer III and Disruptor Ammo (for shield stripping bosses). Full melee spec of course.

He's a super awesome kit now... maybe even the best one from Reckoning.

Talon Merc is unplayable and it is disgusting. All thanks to the keybindings bug Image IPB

So what is the preferred build of AP arrows now? a-a-a (assuming grenade capacity gear)?

I'd have to test it out.... but I won't be able to for another... 7+ hours.

Yes... a-a-a... and Grenade Capacity isn't really needed if you take 6a in the passive and stay on the move like you would with any grenade class.
