How did she end up as a Banshee on earth? I can't think of a believable situation.

She didn't visit the monastery, the actual place where reapers harvested Ardat-Yakashi.
She is one of the strongest biotics in the galaxy, on par with Samara, it would take quite the reaper force to take her down, ( Multiplayer 11 wave solo kind of force, if not more).
Likely not very vulnurable to indoctrination, has a strong mind.

It's like she deliberately went to fight countless reaper forces somewhere ( like on earth for example ) head on, until she was defeated.

Anyone has any believable theories of how she became a banshee?

judging by the email she sends shepard I got the impression that she was on earth or aleast alliance space when she sneaks off the normandy. she also refuses to disclose the city she is in because she knows shepard is with the alliance again, why would they go hunting for her unless she was on earth?

my guess is she went to earth with the normandy, sneaks off because earth is basically disneyland for a Ardat-Yakashi like her, but then the reapers attacked and she could get off planet in time.

Pretty much this. Also if you actually think about it Morinth would fare pretty poorly in a full on reaper invasion. Her usual plan when in danger is to run and dissapear in to the crowds. However being that the reapers are actively targetting the civilian population that exit strategy would fall apart really fast. This is even mentioned in several of the datapads on earth where it is mentioned that standard evacuation procedures just end up leading more people into reaper hands. Without allies, nowhere to run and hide Morinth would find herself in a havesting camp pretty quickly.

As for why she never contacted shepard it's pretty obvious, the reapers target extra-net com bouys as a first order of business when entering a system. The only reason we can contact Anderson is because his resistance group managed to salvage a QEC that connects to the Normandy.

And after Hacket ordered the fleets to abandon Earth only a stealth ship like the Normandy could come anywhere near earth without being shot down. Morinth couldn't just commandeer a shuttle and run the reaper blockade.

Well, as for Reegar and Morinth, their VA's were probably unavailable(Adam Baldwin and Natalia Cigliuti, respectively).

As for Wong...well, probably the same thing. That or she was sacrificed for...Allers...

How Morinth got caught? Dunno.

She was a weak character in ME2, too, so BW had no clue what to write about her. I mean, there isn't any likable trait in her that could sensibly convince you to kill Samara over her. If she had some good intro in ME2 there might have been a point in thinking up a better story in ME3, as it is she was the weird choice in ME2 anyway, unless you play a psycho Renegade Shep.

As horrible a feeling that would be about Wong if true, I'm not sure it really is. Khalisa Al-jilani is still in the game. I think Allers would still be there even if Wong was alive and in ME3.

Adam Baldwin has stated that he was never contacted by Bioware to reprise his role.

No, he didn't just 'take a shuttle and fly away'.  He took the Normandy, a unique vessel capable of avoiding Reaper detection.

Just look how well 'hopping in a shuttle and flying away' worked out for the folks on Earth in the intro.

So Victus took the Normandy to get to the Normandy from Menae?

Ahh, then in that case it was probably one of the following- to save costs, they felt Reegar wouldn't contribute enough to the story to justify paying Baldwin to return, or they simply felt Reegar had nothing to add to the story so bringing back his character was unnecessary anyway regardless of costs.

Bioware writting needs adjusting. What I want to know, is what exactly went through their head that atleast made it seem believable.

We can't schedule her VO like we couldn't for Kal'Rheegar, damn?

Perhaps she was on a ship, traveling between planets when the Reapers attacked.

If they captured the ship she was on, she wouldn't have had many options for escape.

Bioware didn't want to do anything more with her. This resulted in Morinth losing all the intelligence she was written as possessing and sending the reapers a 'come grab me' card complete with her address.

Pretty much this. If Shep recruited her in ME2 she should have helped out on the Normandy. I see no reason why a Shep who recruited her wouldn't let her in. I know I would have.

Ardat-Yakshi" isn't written on her face, they don't have a radar for them.

You sure? Because EDI does; however, her radar was overwhelmed Omega's high death rate

She might simply have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

If a Reaper lands above you and you don't have any ways out ala a Normandy, you're pretty screwed, whether you be Jackie Chan or Urdnot Wrex.

No one is better at scouring a planet of life than a Reaper.
Anyone who is trapped on a Reaper invaded planet will sooner or later be killed by Reaper forces or enslaved and indoctrinated and *willingly* give themselves over.

I have a more difficult question: How does the HUD know that specific banshee is Morinth?

At least the Phantom Jack is somewhat identifiable...

Especially disappointing since Morinth could have also been at the A-K Monastery rescuing her sisters. You still set off the bomb (make sure Asari High Command thinks that everyone died/no one escaped) and can then either shoot Morinth/Falere or let them go. Yeah, almost nobody kept Morinth alive but how many people killed off Garrus?

Morinth was a monster. She may have sought the Reapers out for any number of reasons, including trying to cut a deal with them. Or she simply may have been overwhelmed when the Reapers attacked wherever she was hiding.

BioWare and Natalia Cigliuti did not reach an agreement on her ME3 contract.

It has her scent.
