 What do you think who is the better voice actor for Shepard?
Although i know Jennifer Hale was in a lot of movies & games outside Mass Effect,but in this one i have to go with Mark Meer. I think he is put more emotions to his words,acting better as Commander Shepard.
For example,in the ending of Citadel DLC Mark said "The best." with a lot of emotions,and you could hear that from two words. Jennifer couldn't do that atleast in my opinion. What's you opinions?

I prefer Jennifer Hale as Shepard by far. But I very much enjoy Meer's acting, as well. Especially his work in Dragon Age.

in comparison, I find Mark Meer much better. But then again, I like playing renegade shepard. Paragon playthrough is boring to me.

This is question is entirely subjective and based on the player's on personal preference as to which is better.  I personally prefer Jen Hale but I don't think there is anything wrong with Mark Meer.  Both do a fantastic job as Shepard and both are amazing voice actors.

Lmao, Hale sounds pathetic when you Renegade her. Like a 10 year old bully trying to get the cookies from her parents.

Mark Meer is amazing. Maybe if Femshep had a better voice actress I'd be compelled to partake the trilogy with her. But I can't and won't with Hale.

Agreed, although that's an awfully steep curve for Meer to go up against. Hale's easily one of the best VA's in the western gaming world. Even popularity scrubs such as Laura Bailey outright copy her (see Saint's Third.)

I'm not sure I'll ever be able to hear Jennifer's voice outside of ME without it jarring the other Universe's suspension of disbelief tho, so her talent in some respects may well be her downfall. Can't see her getting much work in the future, simply because she's so iconic now?

Don't forget Ali Hillis in this, btw. Or Brandon Keener. Or Seth Green, etc etc... The voices of the core cast will be burnt into my mind till the day I die.

I prefer Hale as Shepard (though Hale in ME2 keeps making me think of MEtroid Prime), but Meer does other voices as well in the trilogy. THey're both good in their own styles.

Both actors do a great job. They each deliver certain lines better than the other, but I guess I'll always be used to Meer considering that most of my playthroughs were done with a male Shepard.

Hale makes a great Paragon, but bad Renegade.

Meer makes a great Renegade, but his Shepard voice is also very boring (if only he spoke like he does in real life).

Still prefer Meer to Hale though.

The opposite for me. I like Meer's deadpan delivery as a renegade. Hale emotes too much, making the lines less cold and therefore less threatening.

In ME1, Hale was better
In ME2, i'd say they were more or less equal
But in ME3, Meer was clearly superior.
