The original endings lead to the community coming together and sharing so many interesting threads and videos about their thoughts, views and interpretations. The "speculation for everyone" really extended my ME3 experience beyond the game and kept me very interested in everything from the various press events to actual on coming dlc.

It was truely a unique experience and despite the forum negativity, I learned many things and enjoyed many great reads.

In the end citadel dlc was everything I could ask for and more. My shepard truly feels complete..and the bond he shares with Liara means destroy will be his destiny.

I've never been so invested in a game..or game ending. This whole "fiasco" will be something I'll look back at warmly some time in the future. Ill remember the community who donated 80k and cupcakes. I'll remember that hilarious thread full of pics describing the ending...and i'll remember that in the end the mass effect franchise was a good run....
