What I'd like is for femshep's neck to be shortened >< I get it's likely been done for it to look right when she's wearing certain armor, but on the casual outfits it looks like balls. Has done through all three games.
My biggest issue with Femshep's body in ME3 specifically is how narrow her chest is, it makes her look a lot more fragile than she otherwise would have. That and the skinny upper arms, the rest I can deal with.

@MadCat221 :  Lemme know if it fixes it for you.

I think it's an animation issue, not a mesh issue.  If you look at FemShep from the side while walking or running, her upper torso has more ribcage volume, but when she stands still... it collapses.  It happens to even armors, and has existed as far back as ME1.  I think it may affect male characters as well, but since males don't have... upper torso protrusions, it's not as noticeable.

And yep, belt is fixed. :D

One other question... where is this "optional garrus face fix" texture?  I don't see a link for it, and the .mod file I DL'd only had his armor it seems.

The .mod for the Garrus with HR Face is still being created, should be done/released soon.

As to animating, Femshep and animation are definitely not best friends. Always love her leaving over a railing with her arms floating 20 cm's above it. /sarcasm

Well, look at the bright side... at least we don't have the shambling gorilla/gimpy linebacker walk/run animations with no separate M/F anims like in ME2 anymore. Even Male!Shep fell victim to that.

Have you ever tried doing weapon texture mods? Was thinking it would be awesome if you re-textured the Cerberus themed weapons (Harrier, Raptor, Hornet, Talon) to go along with your Phantom set textures. :x

Early on I started a project to do guns, but switched focus to armor. I might get back to it at some point, but atm other things are taking presedence.

Speaking of other things, I've been doing some stuff for my Citadel pack again. I'm still working on all the posters and foilage but am likely to release a new version in the next couple of days.

Hehe it's fine hun,  I know nothing about getting distracted =P Take your time <3

Actually, otherwise wait with the Kai Leng one for a bit. I forgot the barcode on his arm I noticed today =o I'll rerelease it with for .mod conversion then. I can do that one myself too once I've got it sorted.

Could I make a request?

The N7 Hoody.

I found two retexes out there, and only one in a .MOD format. Unfortunately, apparently something's messed up with the hand on the female version. The other one is only 2048x2048 res, and also tries to make the pants look like denim jeans (and not real well either).  The one with the funky hands that doesn't try to denim-ize the pants also is lacking mipmaps.

Hey Ottemis, et al...I'm placing the modified body meshes I've done back into their appropriate game pcc files (Ashley's default uniform, Ashley's face, Ashley's romance body and face, and Ashley's armor - I'm just now finishing altering her armor - smaller breasts, changing the shoulder plates). I'll put the pcc files back into the game, fire it up and take a look. If they work OK I will look for femshep's body (bodies) and see about making some alterations as you requested Ottemis. Finger's crossed.

If they work out OK I'll make the altered pcc files available for download. Because the changes I'm making are fairly small I'm hoping textures and other associated aspects of the meshes will be OK.

Hey Getorex... would transferring them to/from 3DS Max 2010 be possible? I have much experience with fiddling with body meshes from my Oblivion/FO3/FONV/Skyrim modding endeavors.

Most of the people trying this are using 3ds but there are still "issues".  I have (trial version) of 3ds Max 2013 but I am avoiding using it unless I must for really fine-grained editing.  If you get the ActorX plugins (import/export) then you already have what is needed to open the files in 3ds.

I'm using Milkshape 3D...I was using Blender and then Blender and 3ds.  Now I'm just using Milkshape because it is good enough and has very good import/export support.  Better than 3ds or Blender.  It only costs $35 too.

To get the meshes you need ME3explorer.  That app will pull out virtually any file you want.  I've used it to import my edits into the game fies and they preview well in ME3explorer.  Now it is just a test to see if the actual game will accept them.

One more vote for the hoodie, if that counts. :-)

I've finally had a chance to examine your textures in-game and these are very nice - more to my taste than what I was using before. And with your NPC casuals packs I finally can have a hi-res Asari-style dress (the long, heavy ones with a high collar and long gloves), too. :-)

Ottemis, I've found a BOATLOAD of femshep body meshes.  Some look fine to my eye, others look like they could use a little improvement in proportions (some have wider hips than others).  Many have covered arms so doing anything about arm muscle is moot for those.  Are there any particular outfits or uniforms I should look for that you'd like to see changes to?  For all of them I could certainly improve the shape of the breasts a little...though by saying "could certainly" refers to a fair amount of work given the sheer number to deal with.  I haven't peeked at the head files yet so I don't yet know about the neck length.  THAT would be tricky...I could perhaps raise the shoulders a little (muscling her up a little) to make it LOOK like the neck is shorter.

Beyond that here's a link to my latest Ashley "fix".  Her hospital body will now REALLY sport a t-shirt:

Woops...I take it back, the body meshes I found are not (cannot) be femsheps. I'll have to do more searching...and there are some.  I've found her armors.  And parts of her armors (so you can do the mix-match patching together of armor) and, wow, some of the armor is pretty retarded (spikes on one shoulder and forearm all middle ages?  Meh).

I've never played femshep so I had no idea...

I've found her naked models too (?).  Are there femshep scene with her actually nude?  Surely not.  Several of them look quite...fetching...but there's one that almost looks like a cut-paste of the same original Ashley romance body and the Allers' body with the crappy posture.

Here's one of femshep's nude body models edited Ottemis.  As with the previous, I fixed her posture, removed saddlebags, reduced the rear, added a little muscle mass to legs and triceps:

@Getorex: The times she's got her arms/chest exposed are when wearing the dress and her underwear model afaik.
Those in therms of arms/chest-width and neck-length are the biggest culprits. While she's wearing things that cover those areas fully, it's not as obvious.
The fourth casual has relatively broad shoulders that mask her physique, the first casual a lot less, but the look of the outfit helps in therms of concealing it a bit too.
Here, lemme show you:

You need a full frontal to see the effect honestly, I can't find one right now I'd have to go ingame.
I've limited time atm as I've concluded I need to reinstall so I'm prepping atm moving stuff round and will be down and out for a couple of hours tonight.

The last mesh you posted looks good to me, but it's so hard to see really, when not lighted/textured. Optical illusion is a beast. Btw, great effort this, if it works to replace this stuff ingame, that's amazing really =)

@Ghostwise: I'm glad you like them! Noted your vote for the hoody =)

@PolBear: :ph34r:

On the hoody, it appears that there is some issues that cropped with the hands on other versions. I recall reading the denim-pants version having a "fixed hands" version, as well as the other that was .MODpacked having not-fixed hands.  Just FYI if/when you do the hoody... mind the hands.

EDIT: On second thought... Getorex, could you find the hoody mesh and glean a UVW template off of it?  That may help nip the problem in the bud.

@MadCat221: I've dealt with my share of messed up wraps, I should be fine. I've sorted out a number of wrap issues with the stock textures in many of my texmods, thing is that people never really notice seeing you're coming from a pixelated mess hehe. The heads up is appreciated =)

Edit: Windows re-install complete, so back in business once I got all my stuff running again heh.

Hi Ottemis, just a quick question if you don't mind..? :) The armor pack you've made for ME2 (with tons of armor sets in a file called ME2_Armorpack_Ottemis..), that's only for femshep right ? Trying to keep my mods folder tidy, not always easy when downloading from so many different sources ;D

Edit : No need to answer, I found out there was a topic I should read ;D Thanks for the pack though, I'll have another femshep playthrough soon and looking forward to load your pack ;D

Hey Ottemis,

It's two steps forward and one step back. It appears that the latest update to ME3Explorer has undone the "fix" by WV that allowed import and correct presentation of meshes into the game :(

It's now back to glowing limbs or pitch black bodies, etc.

Is WV working on a fix for it?
