@Progman Omega: It's possible that depending on the neckwidth/headsize of your character, the skin might poke through the collar. It has to do with the mesh / original wrap. For instance, the Armar Arena Armor Helmet makes my Femshep's head poke through the back at all times. Has nothing to do with the texture I'm afraid. Same with the back of the N7 helmet on alot of Femsheps.
They position one mesh over another, when a head turns to an extreme, it might cause this weird overlap issue. You can try and reduce the neckwidth a couple of ticks but it might not work.

^^You should hide the head when using Armax. Same goes to various helmets that do not have see through visor.

I should do no such thing, I COULD but I personally just choose to use it without the helmet =P

Ottemis or anyone else...do you happen to know what the file name prefixes are for animated scenes/cinematics in ME3?  I've been looking for the scene played at the very beginning with Shepard on Earth just before/at the Reaper invasion...

If you're using a full helmet that has no transparent visor, always hide the head. Strange things can happen, especially on a femShep.

Lawlz, when using the helmet. ;) I've mapped all available helmets so that I can wear them if I want to. Upon testing them, it was quite obvious that hiding hair wasn't enough! So far they've been just collecting dust but hey, moar helmets to choose from...

TBH I just CBA, I'm lucky enough I have minimal to no clipping on Helmets I'm forced into, asmuch as I'm a "texture warrior" I'm a freaking wimp in therms of coalesced etc modding =P

Hey Ottemis...this may or may not be something you can throw some thought at.  I have been tinkering with getting a simple Ashley armor mesh into the game with proper lighting/reflection.  In so doing today I noticed something that I hadn't before (I didn't look too close before now  thinking it was just part of the lighting issue).  I flycammed up to and into Ashley's helmet (on Mars) to take a close look at her face behind the mask and saw something bizarre.  Her face texture was being totally incorrectly wrapped around her head and face.  Here's a screenshot, first close to her helmet...face/eyes don't quite look "right" so I zoomed into her helmet:

And inside the helmet saw this:

Her face texture is being wrapped around both eyeballs and her head texture is improperly wrapped around her head...I think it is an ear on her right cheek.  This happens whether I use the original head and helmet or my modified head and helmet.  The texture for the armor is fine, just has incorrect lighting effects.  Any ideas?

I have never seen something like that lmao.Anyway does it work without the helmet? You just modified the mesh to get proper lighting effects,maybe there is a "conflict" between the light and the face texture? Let me know

I've only ever seen something like that happen when people errored in custom facial textures themselves by mistake, but if it's wrapping to the eyeballs that's no bueno. Maybe it's effect of a not directly relatable issue with the mesh that you're importing, it's weird the wrap would go that wonky. But then I know little about the meshes.

Oh also, I'm doing stuff. Preview:

Yeah, the request was for Ashleys actually, they're the same wrap but light to dark is just easier so started on Liara's first =)

I AM closer on proper lighting. I tried Ashley again in the hospital with settings I worked with today and the lighting is ALMOST right. There are some mesh issues to deal (jagged arms and the throat thing) with but at least there was no freaky face/eyeball mis-wrap. This is Ashley with short hair in the hospital. The game still crashes if you try to start the conversation :(

Ottemis, et al. Some modest success. I replaced Ashley's default uniform with my re-edit and put it into the game so it would come up at the very beginning when Shepard first bumps into Ashley. It worked (mostly): http://social.biowar...8594/3#16727347
