Two questions, if I may, seeing as I haven't seen it anywhere (could just be me, though), but is there even the slightest possibility of you doing/have done/might possibly be doing a decent hi-res texture update to Jack's "biker"-looking gear in ME2 - or if done by anyone, anywhere I might find it?
Also, is it possible to request the creation of/pointing in the direction of if already done - a texture that can re-colour Samara's armor black (as her "loyalty" outfit was in ME2) in ME3? I personally prefer seeing her in her black variation than the red one. Also, if the gold parts on that black outfit could be redone in silver? In your own time, of course.
That would, as the young folks say, be totally bodacious.
Thanks muchly for any info on either of those you can impart. At the moment, I'm pretty much using your retextures more or less exclusively and ME3's never looked better.

@Captain Proton: Thank you =)
Edit: Alliance Dress Blues NPC .MOD download available, linked through the OP under the NPC section.
Thanks again Didact
Awesome, thanks Ottemis! And Didact for .mod file. Downloading now! Good thing I'm on ME2 atm, will be damn nice to play ME3 with all this new stuff ;D Only your actions will be remembered. May you choose them well.

Captain Proton: I thought EDI's default was done by JeanLuc? I was under the impression that one was quite solid, I do plan to take on some of her other alternate armors though.
meonlyred: Mwuhahahharrr, get me some pics yeah =P
PolBear: Haha, I should revisit my ME2 textures in between the ME3 work again soon actually =o
JakeMacDon: I actually do not know of any. It's unlikely I'll do squadarmors for ME2 though I'm afraid. I'll look into it further and get back to you though.
As to what I'm working on atm, the Science outfit for both genders and all NPC's.
Extending NPC Global further atmo.

Have you ever considered collecting all of the best ME 3 textures besides yours (like JeanLuc's textures) and packing them into one, great, ultimate .MOD file?

Ah...silly indeed. I thought perhaps Didact had a separate thread for this, like the ME3 HR Texture Project, and related. I did download two humongous files a few weeks back that I BELIEVE may include some of your texture mods as well as others. They uniforms look great, as do many maps, but there is a glitch with Shepard's starting Alliance uni and body texture: he has wounds and there is blood splashed on his uniform at the very beginning of the game before the invasion starts.

I'm not sure who made it, but EDI Default Nanosuit in High Resolution 4096x4096 is posted in smarteck's post. Someone made most of his files into .mod already, you should be able to get them from me3explorer site/forum. Link here http://me3explorer.w...shed .mod Files
EDIT : Ottemis' retextures are listed there as well, but I suggest you get her files from this thread.

saltisgood does create packages for the switcher that incorporate alot of the mods out there by smarteck and JeanLuc. Ottemis does have a few in there.Captain Proton wrote...
Thanks, that would be really nice of you

But he hasn't released one in a long time...

This might sounds petty, but if you can confirm someone having repacked my mods into a huge pack, I would really like to know. I mentioned this earlier, but I've recieved no requests apart from via Salty for the Modswitcher, so if I've been added anywhere else without my knowledge I'd like to go check which and whether or not i've atleast gotten proper credit.Getorex wrote...

They uniforms look great, as do many maps, but there is a glitch with Shepard's starting Alliance uni and body texture: he has wounds and there is blood splashed on his uniform at the very beginning of the game before the invasion starts.There are several HR texture mod threads so I have temperarily misplaced the one that pointed to the HUGE files with many many textures in them.
I created this thread to not only bring these 'to the public' myself more effectively, but to also make sure my mods are recognizably mine, so people know which modder to credit for what. It's to keep a level of oversight and control over what people are doing with them and how.
I actually ran across a thread featuring a LOT of repacked texmods, but credit is only meagerly given (if at all) and the only link points to Smarteck's thread so if I was indeed added to this pack without my knowledge and without proper credit I would be upset, and that's an understatement.
This work has cost me a good year and is still ongoing. While I do this with pleasure, I do expect to have my work credited properly and for permission to be sought because at the very least the amount of work that went into this should be respected to that extend in my mind. Anyways, if you can confirm this, please do an I'll contact the creator if nessecary.
As to that glitch, afaik that only happens in one of two situations:
- They did a sh*tty job packing up the various versions of the texture for the .MOD
- You have resaved the chapter or autosave as a regular save via gibbed to make changes. The normal outfit only works before the explosion which is the first manual save opportunity. If you make a manual save before you logically can, it will automatically change to the bloody-version assuming you are in that part of the intro.
@MACharlie1: Salty also does alot of work within the ME3Explorer project and has a regular jon/obligation. It seems he's prioritizing the Texplorer updates over his own project, hence the long wait.
@PolBear: Good point lol.
@Captain Proton: I plan to pack mine up as best I can. I personally pref things to be in seperate .MOD files for whatever category they belong to, so people can also more easily vary between mods and between modders.
While I'm not opposed to others creating packs for public use (if properly credited), I will not be making any myself I don't think. Atleast not any featuring other people's mods.

There you go. I have quite a few mods which still aren't online. I'll put them all up in the near future. Please note that a lot of stuff I have up is also out of date. EDI's default armor, however, is not.

I can say that the blurb for it indicated that it contained some textures by Ottemis (as well as other well-knowns). I'll let you know as soon as I find it again.

@Didact2401
Yeah I spotted that too, but the gallery nor credit indicate any of my stuff was ever used. ><
Honestly credit been given really Sh*ttily on both of these. As much as I can appreciate these guys spending a lot of time repacking these, it's not cool if you can't retrace them to the mod's creators imho.
Salt on the other hand gives proper credit for his switcher mods.

That shouldn't happen and you're the first I heard say such. The .MOD repack should work for both genders. You are talking about the basegame yes? Not some corner of some DLC somewhere? Rerun it and/or redownload the latest repack. Report back if the problem persists. I'll do a test on my end in the meantime.Captain Proton wrote...
I think I might have a small problem here: the N7 armor texture does not seem to work on male Shepard's armor, it's still textured with the low-res version. I'm using the .MOD version.
Maleshep has a unique chest and arms, but the legs and shoulders are universal for both genders. Maleshep's armor is all listed together, femshep's is all over the place. It is, if you applied the mod properly, almost impossible for this to not work for Maleshep because that basically just means the mod did not apply at all.

Might be your version of ME3Explorer, don't know. Alot of people reporting issues with it, so I've still been using an older build. It's nice it's not 'installed' so can keep multiple versions and run whatever works hehe.

It worked fine for FemShep.
It worked for MaleShep too, except for the chestpiece. That still has the default texture.
Is this older version of ME3Explorer still available somewhere?

The thing is that there are multiple issues with older mods and the newer versions of ME3Explorer, for reason I don't fully understand. Salt had said they would be backwards compatible but they're not always. I can't keep repacking them everytime a new version comes out though. The whole thing is still in development. It's good practice to run a newer version, coupled with an older version if you run into issues applying the older mods. At some point it'll be pulled together again once development settles down.
