I have to ask this question and I mean no ill will by it. I just want an honest answer. Why put cerberus armors in the dlc knowing full well that people don't like it? Is it out of spite or is it something else? Please give an honest and thoughtful response. Thank you.

And besides, even if every single person who played Mass Effect hated Cerberus, they still look freaking cool.

I can think of one good reason. Because some people in the fanbase, like myself, still really like Cerberus.

Yeah I know what you mean. I do think Kai Leng is cool looking. I am bit of Kai Leng Fanboy. And i keeping heard about a book Mass Effect Deception, but I can't remember the life of me what is it. Or it is so bad It makes me forget it other than the title.

However, I hate the vibe you get that they were always evil and that Shepard hated working for them, even if you express interest in joining them completely in ME2.
I support Cerberus, and I support their goals. They are a watchdog group for humanity at their core, doing the things the alliance never would or could do. I'm pro-human and I believe Cerberus is out to confront the entities out there that would harm humanity and the galaxy at large.
The big lie they try to sell you is that pro-human = anti-alien. That's not the case. While there are xenophobes in Cerberus no doubt, they are also in the alliance as well. There are xenophobes in other races. Many of their experiments do cross the line, and there are a *lot* of questionable personalities that TIM put in charge of certain cells. But they are still a group with a goal worth believing in.
I believe that had they not been indoctrinated, they would have been Shepard's most useful ally's against the Reapers.

After applying some of these, the Ajax armour for example, is the best looking armour set in the series (atleast for me) with N7 and Spectre logos, it is very fitting :-)

Right, which is why you wear Darkspawn armour in DA and geth parts in ME1...Cerberus is really important to the plot?

I understand and accept why I couldn't ally with Cerberus in ME3. They were indoctrinated.

And this is why there is cerebus armor in the game. Because OP, not everyone is you, with your likes and dislikes. So, when you say 'no one likes cerebus', what you should have said is '*I* personally don't like Cerebus..." I dunno why, in this day and age, so many people STILL don't understand that just because they don't like something, everyone agrees with them.
Of course, I do agree with the OP. I don't like them. I mean, these are the same folks who got my entire squad killed on Akuze to study Thrasher Maws, the same folks who let the colonists on Zhu's hope get infected by the Thorian, and used samples from it to enslave other humans in the 'name' of science. They were 'pro-human' and would do anything to make sure humans were on top....including kill and change humans. In the end (and I think this may have even happened before indoctrination fully took hold) they were snatching colonists and converting them into soldier drones against their will to 'promote' humanity. That's something I'd fight against, and I'm glad Bioware ensured that Shep would do so as well.

Cerberus or not, the new armor is one of my favorites in the game. It was a nice addition to the DLC.

Why Cerberus armor? Because Cerberus Armor is pimpin.
Yeah. Cerberus really does have some cool-looking armor sets, while the Alliance seems to still be using the old, crappy armor we used back in ME1 (not counting the kinda/sorta non-cannon N7 Human kits in the MP).

For my head canon I like to think Shepard sometimes wears it because they make the best gear that is designed just for humans.
