Cerberus being the source of this gear is fine. The disappointment stems from the fact that the armor is in Cerberus colors. Fighting for the Alliance against Cerberus whilst donning Cerberus colors is... wrong.

Because I bet it the asset was just pulled directly from the Kai Leng model, and not the Slayer MP character. Not that I care, it's not like the Cerberus logo is actually going to alter the way people interact with you in the game.

I cannot allow Shepard to wear Cerberus armour out of principle. If your fighting for the Alliance, it would seem odd to wear it. Plus it would be difficult for my Shepard to clearly state she has no links with Cerberus anymore whilst wearing Cerberus armour for the missions. It's a shame, because it has good effects to it.

i liked my cerberus armour, i kept it all way through three on my soldier, especially when dealing with the alliance council

Cerberus makes the best equipment in the galaxy due to reverse engineering reaper tech. I would say war doesn't stop to paint your armor but citadel DLC lol. Maybe nobody onboard is a good painter? Yeah, that'll do.

I think the better question is why does the female version get shafted again?

I mean, I can swap the model to Blood Dragon so I can still use the stats, but first the leather jacket, now this?

well i have ME3 on the xbox so i cant use texmods but i would be happy with just a slider on the customize screen for the pattern of the armor so all those who want cerberus can have it looking like that but for those who want maybe an N7 version or an alliance version can just switch, thats my opinion

running around wearing the enemies heraldy sucks.


there are enough moments ongame, that could be seen as game and lore breaking when shepard wears cerberus armor.

I almost think that it's their inside joke or something. Also the annoying part is that squad mates have basically the same armour but better texture. for example it's fairly simple process to just port Kaidan's version for Shepard because the model is basically the same.

I wonder why they did not give couple texture options...

That's it really. I wouldn't be so frustrated if I didn't see my squadmates wear equivalent armors with Alliance colors.
They already have the texture and the model, why not make them available for Shepard? It's very annoying.

What I don't get is that they literally went out of their way to retexture the Ajax armor to be cerberus themed when it already had an N7 skin. Why Biowur?

I was wondering why cerberus armor too when we aren't even working with or for cerberus any more. I would have rathered see them give us some new awesome N7 revamped armor or something. Like a 'state of the art N7 design' I don't feel comfortable at all putting cerberus armor on Shep.

It has nothing to do with "fashion". It's about flying the enemy's colors. It's absurd.

Nothing a texture mod won't fix, but still.

The only thing I have to add is that in the Armax armour's description is that they used the Phatom armour and changing into something soldiers can use. The appearance of the armour may be due to the materials used to create it, as well as the Cerberus logo of course/ I didn't like Cerberus but I still wear it in the Arena.

tl;dr It makes sense to me when reading the item's description.
