I know I've read other threads about being getting kicked from rooms, but I'm looking for more for a balance of comedy and commentary here, and there's no harm in having an updated edition.

I generally play with only friends and occasionally we have to go to the "pub-pen" for a fourth player... these moments are filled with either hilarity, confusion, or pity... and sometimes all of the above. Now, as a general rule, if I have a fourth player coming in after a match I'll send 'the random' a message giving him/her a chance to leave before a kick gets applied (I try to be nice) but overall I'm somewhat picky about my randoms since I'm going to be sharing a room with them for the next 20 to 30 minutes potentially so these things matter.

You're to get a kick if...

• ...you come into the lobby and ready up with no gear.
• ...you're readying up with an Asari Commando with a Claymore and a Harrier.
• ...you enter with no gear and do nothing for a minute until someone else ready's up, then you ready up.
• ...after multiple suggestions of moving your mouth away from the mic you insist on sounding like an asthmatic Darth Vader.
• ...you insist on running a Reeger on anything with a flamer (see my page 6 post for explanation).
• ...you spend all 11 waves on Hydra playing up in the glitch balcony (also might get you reported).
• ...you think, after thirty seconds, the entire team should now cater to your whims and class.
• ...you insist on using Assault Rifle gear on your Hornet.
• ...you can't stop talking, insist on talking over everyone else in the room, and have a "know-it-all" mentality.
• ...you talk in all hate speech and slurs upon your arrival.

This, or if the two others want the third kicked and the game won't start until so, I will kick.

I endured a lvl 176 Shadow today with an Eagle IV, no equipment at all not even gear, on Gold/FB White today.

It was dreadful, and I may have actually kicked them after the game was over, but they left after said game, hopefully they learned a valuable lesson of pain being dead 95% of the time.

i only play Plat, so here's my criteria for kicks:

-You join a Platinum lobby with a Level 1 character
-Your challenge points are not above 1000
-If you join with an unmaxed uncommon weapon
-If you insist on only using level 1 equipment
-If your Gear Bonus (lower right) isnt at least IV or higher
-You joint a Platinum lobby with 1 or more common weapons
-You join a platinum as a Krolord
-You join as a jug with a Batarian Gauntlet equipped

Krogan Warlord is Platinum viable

This, pretty much.

Unless I'm really, really trying to put together a decent team and the typical N7 68 with a Disciple I, a Predator III, and no gear/consumables on a level-15 kit shows up. But, I mean, if it's Gold and the other two seem decent enough, I'll gladly carry said N7 68. And I'll only kick them out before the next game if they were obviously making no effort.

I really think a lot of these people just genuinely believe they might do well on Gold. I'm more than happy to help them see if that's the case. It's not unheard of for some of them to not suck.

-If you are wearing Grenade Capacity gear on a class that doesn't use grenades.

-If your mic is perma-keyed and I can hear your every breath

-If you join Gold+ with a N7 under 20 and an Avenger III

-You spend the entire previous match biotic charging around and dying on every single wave and then screaming when the 3 other people won't leave the drone to run across the map and rez you.
(Person had over 2k N7 and 10k Challenge. Goes to show how much those numbers don't matter.)

Good principle, but with friends it is not a big deal to carry one or two of these guys on Gold. If I was PUGging alone I would just leave the lobby. Most of the time I play with friends since it is more fun.
