Yeah definitely lots of better choices (you're comparing a rare to a common...) but given what else the PuGs bring on gold/plat... I'm just saying that the Mantis, just based on how it performs, is alright on Gold.

Fair enough, but I generally don't trust players who bring a starter weapon into Gold unless I know they don't have anything better at the time than a Mantis X or Katana X.

Wait...what's so bad about using a Reegar on a Flamer caster? It's an amazing combo really... Reegar to blast off shields, Flamer to cast armor. Sure, you don't have too much in the ways of long range weaponry with just those two (always good to keep a back-up) but the classes with flamer tend to be somewhat tank-y and have speed boosts. I see no reason why this should warrant a kick.

Unless you just really hate seeing blue and red flames everywhere.

You're also going to get a kick if you carry a bunch of scrawny pyjaks kicking and screaming to extraction and in the process gave them an inferiority complex. 

(I shall resist the temptation to post screen-shots of my two games today where I got kicked after carrying the team to two sub-20 min Gold extractions on Giant/Geth and White/Reapers)

It does not count for e-peen purposes if you were the host.  If you were not, then well done!

Could be because there used to be a Flamer + Reegar glitch but that has been fixed a while back.

Other than obvious reasons for kicking players on platinum:
I am considering kicking Slayers from my lobby. You should only play this class if you are hosting. If they decide to play the match, either they leave after 1min because of lag, or just spam biotic slash.

Also, I consider kicking Shadow players. 99% of a time when a Shadow joins my lobby, they just spam electric slash. And I will always kick a shadow if I decide to host a game on Hydra.

I generally play with only friends and occasionally we have to go to the "pub-pen" for a fourth player... these moments are filled with either hilarity, confusion, or pity... and sometimes all of the above. Now, as a general rule, if I have a fourth player coming in after a match I'll send 'the random' a message giving him/her a chance to leave before a kick gets applied (I try to be nice) but overall I'm somewhat picky about my randoms since I'm going to be sharing a room with them for the next 20 to 30 minutes potentially so these things matter.

You're to get a kick if...

• ...you come into the lobby and ready up with no gear.
• ...you're readying up with an Asari Commando with a Claymore and a Harrier.
• ...you enter with no gear and do nothing for a minute until someone else ready's up, then you ready up.
• ...after multiple suggestions of moving your mouth away from the mic you insist on sounding like an asthmatic Darth Vader.
• ...you insist on running a Reeger on anything with a flamer.
• ...you spend all 11 waves on Hydra playing up in the glitch balcony (also might get you reported).
• ...you think, after thirty seconds, the entire team should now cater to your whims and class.
• ...you insist on using Assault Rifle gear on your Hornet.
• ...you can't stop talking, insist on talking over everyone else in the room, and have a "know-it-all" mentality.
• ...you talk in all hate speech and slurs upon your arrival.

Now add yours...
