Agreed. that's what it sounds like to me.
I look at the players Challenge rating and character level.
I have no issues to what equipment is used.
I DO wish folks would use missles on Gold when they're
the only person left standing and Refuse to use a cobra
OOooooo that is so frustrating. the only time I don't use them
is if I don't have them.

Non-volus when everyone else is volus

Then the usual leachers, glitchers, cheaters. I honestly don't mind one low equipped person (avenger III and so on), but not two in gold+.

so if we were playing an mmo, you would show up with no armor and weapon because " you dont need it?"
do you realize how ridiculous that sounds?
drop the selfish attitude with your gear, if you play gold 12 hours a day, you have literal thousands of peices of gear you will never use and will continue to build up.
no personal disrespect, but your standpoint confuses and disgusts me.
i have to leave numerous lobbies and kick numerous people because they think this is acceptable.

the number one reason people complain pugs suck here is because they dont equip stuff.
help the cause, dont be one of them.
 

you think I'm being selfish? I have Very Little in the way of consumables ( ammo, armor etc)
I used them constantly on gold until I got good enough at it to always extract.
I really just do not understand the Hostile attitude about what I do with MY stuff..
if you have played plat you know you need Everything you have to get full extraction.
I used so much stuff when I first went to gold and now my favorite annoyance the folks that let everyone fully gear up then force host migration (and I end up losing connection 1 in 3 times) so I am not going to waste
what few goodies I have. like the movement speed increasing: I use these on my Jugger and save them for him
due to how slow he is. so you see I have decent reasons for what I do. still, feel free to kick me
so I can add you to my block list.

Me too. You seem to fail in comprehending the important fact that though Gold can be done without equipment--for many Gold vets--maximising your damage potential / output and thereby minimising consumable usage AND minimising the TIME it takes to play a game IS a key part to their game.

How I despise hearing this drivel "You don't need equipment on Gold" in my lobbies.

I was just chatting with someone else and they and you are right
I will use my equipment in gold from now on so I do not lead others by a bad example.

I just needed someone to explain Why it's so important for equipment on gold.

I honestly don't care what the Player has (It doesn't matter what the N7 Ranking is, the amount of equipment they have, etc.), as long as they "Apply" themselves to the Battlefield.

Maybe little off topic,but nevertheless

I played very weird match last night.
When the match started,host (I think) said "Hi,everyone",but as everybody remained silent,he started to insult us with really nasty words (F__k you all,b____s,retards etc).
I didn´t want just leave the match,I wanted to report that SoB,but I just said to him,that this is a public match and you can´t expect that people will be very chatty and there is no need for the insults.
After that,everything went much smoother and I played 2 more Plat games with the same team and had great time.

You try to tell me to spam Shield Boost while i'm playing as my Volus.

Some mofo was playing as a Cabal and was extremely mad when, instead of following him around and Shield Boosting him so he'd have 95% DR, I just ran around and murdered stuff as any true Volus should. Needless to say, I kicked him out after that round.

If it's just one N7 50 with avenger in a good group for gold why kick?

They need to know the difficulty is too much for them at some point.
Hell three decent players won't have a problem extracting and he might just be a platform switcher with real skill.

Give them one game, if they listen and/or are ok keep em. If not [X]

I'm not too picky/elitist if it's below platinum.  Below platinum, my intent is to extract -- not extract within 20 minutes.  If the game ends up taking 40 minutes and I'm dissatisfied or whatever, I simply leave the lobby at the end of the game.

This isn't a bad idea; however, right now skilled players are busy maximising their manifests and, importantly, want this done ASAP.

Apart from the usual "No, you're not ready for gold yet" player's, seeing someone enter a bronze match with a lot of playtime, a level 20 character and level 4 consumables.

Really.

The only time I ever do bronze now is to get my promoted characters off level 1, but I suppose people have got to fuel their E-peen somehow. And I have actually seen those player's kicked as well... which amuses me no end.

This is true I suppose, but I still play for the fun of the game so speed isn't all that important to me.
