Got kicked after a Gold match... had the most points and the 15 revive medal but didn't help out on extraction wave when everyone was at the LZ constantly going down and I relaxed on the other side of the map

My biggest problem with people who don't apply consumables in the lobby ( assuming playing pug ) is that, in my experience, they are more likely to quit the match, or not use gel or rockets. This has happened many many times, and it's also notable when they do well ( because it does not happen very often that they perform well ).

I usually play with friends, and we always apply and use consumables on gold. If I play pug I will keep on quitting lobbies until I find one where everyone has consumables applied.

If there are three friends and we need a fourth, we open it up to a random. If the random that joins and readys up and does not have consumables applied we ask, or message, requesting that they put on consumables. Usually they will. In the times that they don't ( and we play anyway ), we either end up carrying them because they suck, they quit if they get grabbed early in a round, or they don't use gel or rockets.

We used to kick people that didn't apply consumables, then we got good enough that we could carry a slacker. But now I am going back to kicking non-consumable applies just because of my bad history of quiters and non-gel-and-rocket-using slackers.

Btw, I hate kicking anyone ( my friends get on my case because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings - idmrathermquit the lobby and create a new one and invite my friends back ). I am just tired of the fact that people are avoiding buying jumbo packs, yet want to play gold for the credits.

With my alt account, which is N7 20, I've carried N7 5000s.  No big deal.

The vast majority of accounts with N7 less than 120 are not alt accounts and hence indicate a lack of experience with the game.

i only play Plat, so here's my criteria for kicks:

-You join a Platinum lobby with a Level 1 character
-Your challenge points are not above 1000
-If you join with an unmaxed uncommon weapon
-If you insist on only using level 1 equipment
-If your Gear Bonus (lower right) isnt at least IV or higher
-You joint a Platinum lobby with 1 or more common weapons
-You join a platinum as a Krolord
-You join as a jug with a Batarian Gauntlet equipped

I play platinum with level 1 characters. I still get the highest points. You seem like a bad kid wanting to be carried.

Why does that get a kick?  There are some people out there who are like Zen Deities with their character.  I was completely inspired by this player who did the Gold solo with Asari Justicar with no gear and his passive and health only spec'd to the fourth level.  No gear isn't necessarily bad is it?

I have been trying to figure out what gets a kick so I am glad of this thread. 

What I learned is that if you are going to Gold or Platinum and your character is below 18 or 19 Level people kick.  I think there is an assumption that the player will not be able to pull his or her weight.

Why *do* people camp the LZ during the Extraction round?  That means everyone is going to be there trying to kill you.

I usually play with my mic, so I will discuss things that bother me in the lobby, such as people not equipping consumables in a Gold or Plat lobby, or a low level N7 player on Gold. If they're positive that they can do well in that Gold game, then I'll be okay with carrying them. I very rarely kick, but I will kick if you're being a jerk in my lobby. That's really one of the only reasons.

I'm less lenient with Plat lobbies then I am with Gold lobbies.

Because they are N7 lower-hundreds. 

It made me laugh to see them kicking me immediately after the match. And it has nothing to do with the people being in their low hundreds. I would understand them doing it because they don't know better. I've seen the same on Platinum too. Makes my life easier though because I will extract for sure because the enemy will turn their focus on them

No consumables that's the only reason. Also OP why would you kick a Reegar on a geth trooper I. E. use Reegar to purge shields, use flamed for armor. That seems perfectly legit, equipt a CSMG for hack circles and your set.

I PUG almost 99% of the time and I don't like kicking. However, I consider using equipment, specifically on gold and platinum to be like placing an anti. I've found more often than not that people who don't use any equipment are not as willing to use missiles or medi-gel when needed. Overall, games tend to be of lower quality and involve much more carrying when this is the case. I've only played a couple games though..
