What, in your opinion, is the Strongest Boss-Type Enemy?

 For clarification, the boss type enemies in the game are the following:

Reapers: Banshees, Brutes, Ravagers, Harvesters
Cerberus: Atlas, Phantoms, Adjutants, Dragoons
Geth: Geth Prime, Geth Pyro
Collectors: Praetorians, Scions (Let's assume they aren't possessed.)

So, this is a pretty simple thread. Assume any conditions you want, but in general, what do you think is the strongest, most powerful boss type enemy type in the game. Many of course would say Banshees or Praetorians because people who believe just because an enemy has armour or barriers, it means they are a boss....have obviously never heard of Warp.

Personally I would say that in multi-player, it is the Banshee, for rather obvious reasons including her very common sync kill and her equally common tendency to wipe out your entire team if they don't know what the **** they are doing. The Banshee is followed in a close second by the Phantom because while any Level 20 character can kill a Phantom on her own easily, it's when there are hoards of them that you get trouble. Especially in Platinum when they start throwing Phantom/Banshee swarms at you. Not to mention the not well-known fact that Phantoms almost always begin regenerating health when they are in cloak.

However in singleplayer, Phantoms are a lot dumber and a lot easier to kill (Thanks Liara) than they are in multi-player, so for single-player, the Banshee wins. And yes I think Banshees are more powerful than Harvesters..

Now, what is your opinion? :)

EDIT: Also, I am sorry but Geth Bombers don't count as boss type enemies.

For MP: Praetorians
-Very fast
-Sync Killer
-Stunlocking melee combo
-Ridiculously powerful beam
-Tanky

These guys are pretty easy in SP so it's hard to say.

MP... I still go with Phantoms because of the palm blaster.

Praetorians are somewhat fast, but if you aim at their "head" and have decent weapon damage, you can stun them / stop their approach. Yeah their lasers are annoying, but you can dodge them more easily than the Phantom cannon.

lolbanshee. Just walk away from her while she's teleporting, when she stops jumping around she can't sync kill and becomes a slender annoying wall of health. Reapers are easy.

Atlus is literally a wall of health and a joke. Phantom is the real boss of cerberus with her super cheap attacks, she can be disabled easily though by certain character/classes. Dragoons are only a issue when grouped up in 3 and with a phantom sniper around.

Geth are ridiculously easy in SP, but in MP they are cheap as hell. Prime is a big stunlocking wall, his turret is more of a challenge.

Praetorian is a real boss with wall hacking lasers, tons of armor/barrier, instant power block shield than lets him move around, possession recovery/buff, and stunlock melee plus sync kill. I think the Scions are 2x worse though, the cannon attack does insane damage/stunlock and fires across the map and cluster grenades make batarians/turians cry, they are also everywhere.

Although I actually hate phantoms more as I have trouble aiming at them. But I'll say praets are the strongest.

I'll give you a clue: it takes down your shields almost instantly, can snipe you across the map, spawns those pesky geth turrets, causes massive screen shake and can stagger lock you for days. Not to mention is tanky as fk and almost immune to stagger itself.

If you guessed geth prime, then congratulations friend! Your reward is having a turret spawned behind you while getting railed across the map.

Banshees: They can counter-act that strategy using both their Warp as well as their Wall-hacks. Not to mention they are almost impossible to fight as either an Engineer or a Vanguard.

Atlas: I agree, they are pretty much only there to be big and tanky, whereas Phantoms are far deadlier but so much easier to kill. Hey Phantom, meet the Geth Infiltrator.

Geth: I actually find Geth harder in SP but that's just me, but I agree, the Geth, as a faction are a bunch of stun-locking, dirty-playing creatures.

Praetorians: I agree but you would be surprised how stupid Praetorians are, hence why they are weaker than Banshees and Phantoms.

Primes are the most annoying.

I just did the Combat Arena fight with the boss spam (Insanity) and absolutely cruised through killing the banshees, praetorians and Atlases no problems. Primes required careful cover and squad management.

Primes provide almost no challenge to an Infiltrator (or, I suppose, an Engineer) since you can just hack them with Sabotage to get them on your side long enough to destroy them. Sabotage is seriously an 'I Win' button on anything synthetic.

Engineers rip through banshees: overload their shields and burn armor with incinerate. In MP: Vanguards do have a tough time in a one-on-one fight with banshees(excluding the Cerbguard and Cabal). In SP: charge, nova, charge nova, nova, charge!!! If you get grabbed, a well timed biotic explosion or a barrage of Javik grenades will free you.

Praetorians are weaker than Banshees? In what way?

Out of all the boss enemies, phantoms ARE the most damaging. That palm blaster is just......demoralizing. However, she's a glass cannon. The Graal can kill her in 1-3 shots. One of the many reasons why the Graal is a very underrated gun!

I'd say the Atlas, because they take soooo much damage. Plus their DOT seeking stagger missiles are very annoying.

She is a glass cannon.  But I would imagine if you analyze the number of deaths inflicted on players, adjusted for enemy type, Phantom would largely win.

Any stagger weapon is useful against a Phantom.  Graal (mediocre to armor, which is only reason I don't run it more), GPS (Geth version of Graal), Falcon, Scorpion (only gun where you can save yourself from sync kills to my knowledge).  If you have legendary aim, or aimbot, then Suppressor will also kill them rapidly.

Primes are definitely annoying off host, but have low movement speed, and various classes also render them near harmless.

Praetorian is who I would give the nod to most likely after Phantom.  But as I said before, weapon classes are practically a hard counter to them.

what about the Rampant Mechs from Omega? For me those were preaty tough.. They usually swarmed you from everywhere, are decently fast, have powerful melee attacks, an impenetrible shield that they can bring up for about 1 second (making them immune to attacks), and are still dangerous even when they dead!!

For MP, the Dragoons are preaty similar. They are quick and agile, relentless at attacks, and they have the Hornet XXVII.

EDIT: It also depend on your surroundings as well. If you are in a very open, spacious area, then these little guys aren't as bad as preatorian, prime, or scion. But if your in a very small linear room, then the dragoons and mechs devastate!

Personally, I think the hardest are Praetorians.

The most annoying are Banshee's. They still have magnet hands.

As for most annoying enemy period, that goes to Dragoons and Geth Rocket Troopers.
