Really only useful if your hosting, as that's the only way to reliably get head shots.
I mostly use the Executioner instead.

1 magazine from the Supressor= 942.6 damage Spare ammo: 40 (6-7
1 magazine form the Executioner= 981.1 damage Spare Ammo: 25

So...yeah. If you get alot of headshots, it's ok. But it really needs more spare ammo.

Love the gun, but anyone know the best mods for it? I'm currently running Cranial Trauma and Extended Mag, but would Extended Barrel be better (Heavy Barrel is a no, as I use the Suppressor as a caster weapon)?

I don't use pistols often, but when I do, I make headshots with the suppressor.

It's good and fun to be sure, but most of the time I find I'd generally be better off just taking a higher base damage weapon in order to deal with bosses or lag preventing consistent headshots. It kind of comes back to that one take on the loading screen tip I saw posted here once, "Headshots inflict superior damage on most targets...that don't require superior damage to defeat."

I was full of hope for this gun, as I really enjoy aiming for the head, and it seemed it would pair very well with drell and vanilla turian. The reality is that, since bosses technically don't suffer from headshots, but rather weak spots, that all the boosted headshot multipliers are doing is letting you kill trash faster, and even that is arguable since using a different weapon and not bothering to go for the head may kill those mooks even faster.

I hope headshots multipliers are consistent for every enemy in the next Mass Effect (or other form of a vulnerable spot).

I used it on EDI instead of the shotgun bonus. It works great on infiltrators because you can fire off an entire clip for the duration of the 40% cloak damage bonus, and fire off a cryo debuff.

I read that it doesn't break cloak when fired, I tried it and left disapointed :(
Not a fan.

I have to get better on landing headshots, but yeah, I use the gun. It it probably very good against Collectors since they have big heads. It'll be ridiculously good on a Tsol specced for headshots in passive and Marksman. Add the Trauma mod to devastating effect.

Carnifex 10 headshot damage 345.1 x 2.5 = 862.75

Suppressor 10 headshot damage 157.1 x 4.0 = 628.40

Really no comparison as Carnifex also does more than double damage on 'body shots'. As has already been stated earlier, does good damage to low health targets if you consistently get headshots but requirement for a second weapon for the grown-up bad guys negates it's usefulness as a caster weapon.

And it's not even particularly lightweight. Eagle weighs nothing and rarely runs out of ammo. Also gentle on the trigger finger and good for ammo effects....
