Derek_H has had all their work removed from the vault and their account deleted. By doing so, not only have they removed their work (including custom content) but they have also removed all their comments including any votes that they had made for any particular project. So thanks a bunch Derek_H (yes I have lost a vote on a project that mattered to me and these days they're not easy to come by).

Out of curiosity, who is that and why?

Using my custom vault search shows that they had commented/uploaded cc/replied to comments somewhere between 90 and 100 times. They posted stuff for both nwn and nwn2. They also were the first person to vote for the cc of mine that I referred to in my first post in this thread. If you use my vault search you will only find empty pages and missing comments. This is down to the low speed of updating that google does.

Maybe Rolo can explain what's up, as this has caused Vault content to be removed that I don't believe they contributed to. For example the NWN2 "SOZ holiday expansion project"

<putting on his...>
All I can say is that all content (including comments & votes) by that author were unpublished by request.
@ Kamal: If that SOZ HEP is by a different or multiple authors, can you email me the details and I'll talk to Maximus about shifting it to a different author.

From my own experience people remove their content when they are really pi**** or were badly insulted and they decide that in the heat of the moment. From a long time point of view it´s just bad for yourself and you hurt innocent and good people too. But it´s either not my business not do i know the person...
Got anything removed for NWN that you consider worth to mention?

0__0 Never heard of him... Maybe a little more detail on the CC he made would help refresh our memories and contact/persuade him to come back?

Well there;s nothing much to see there but here's the link to what would have been the vault page with all their work on it. For some reason there is still 1 thing on there. As far as I can see they made a bundle of nwn2 stuff. However before that they appear to have made some creatures for nwn (3 worms, zombie dragons etc.).

One of the NWN2 things (I'm a NWN2 modder) under his account was the "SOZ Holiday Expansion" community project. I'm working with Rolo to get it back and assigned to a "project" account.

I will never condone such an action as removing one's released content from the community (this even applies to some of my own material that I find substandard and embarrassing now) -- especially when others may depend on that content. I can only see it as a hostile action toward the community as a whole.

@Tchos I tend to agree. However, while you are saddled with my contributions (everyone has my sympathy (
)) there are circumstances where an individual may feel their only course of action is to do so. Especially when I ask the cheeky question "Are you going to update the work you consider sub-standard?" Sorry I couldn't resist (
).

Well I can proudly say that all the rubbish I have put out there will last as long as the vault does.
Enjoy my garbage!
