In all sincerity, I want to congratulate Bioware on a job well done.  I bought ME3 for the singleplayer campaign (which I still think is one of the greatest experiences in gaming), and didn't much care about the multiplayer.  After I played one night, I couldn't stop.  What could have easily been a tacked on game mode, was instead one of the best multiplayer games I've played.

Thank you, and I look forward to the next game.

I've had the game a year and I still play multiplayer. I even visit the official Bioware forums to discuss it (probably guessable). Admittedly it was mostly to rant about disconnection issues, but despite that, I'm still playing, still bashing away at that inventory padded with rare pap. Must be doing something right, given there's several things I hate!

I'm in the same boat, OP. I only tried multiplayer to raise my War Asset score in the campaign. Now I play it pretty much every day

First non-massively-multiplayer game I got into. Bought it for single player, didn't even touch multiplayer until I finished single player, just as an after thought. I was originally pissed that the multiplayer galaxy at war status made a difference in the single player games (though I do 100% single player runs so still got the best ending at 50%). Got hooked for months afterwards. Played every challenge since the very first, though I stopped playing regularly months ago. It was definitely an awesome experience. I am done now that they added promo weapons to ultra rare packs, unless they still do challenges that give a random ultra rare weapon.

I've got to say, it's the same story for me as it was for others in this thread. Didn't expect much and got sucked in. Wish we could download a multiplayer portal program so I wouldn't have to fire up ME3 to play.

My thoughts exactly OP. Thanks Bioware! It`s been awsome, and I will still enjoy singleplayer years to come, even though the servers for multiplayer leaves us.

I have probably put as much time in this one franchise as I have in all others combined.

This is saying something, because I don't feel I've beaten a game until I've found everything.

My praise for excellent job Bioware teams did with ME3 is well known, both SP & MP equally.

I can only hope they will continue this same road of awesomeness on next Mass Effect installment with next generation consoles.

Agreed.

Came for the SP, stayed for the MP. I have to say, I have loved the MP element of the game. I have still played through the SP 4 times and am working on a 5th with all the DLC on it but MP still takes most of the play time for me.

BW, congrats on the game and I look forward to what's next in store for ME.

My thoughts exactly.  A great way to keep the franchise true to itself and to extend the life of the game.  The free support--the vast amount of it--is just staggering, as well.  I have never enjoyed gaming as much as I have playing Mass Effect (and am looking forward to engaging with Dragon Age this summer, as well.)  The MP component of ME3 is a huge, huge warrant for that.

Thanks again, BioWare!
