We've had a fruitful year of DLC adding tons of Rare and Ultra Rare weapons, and you always see people bringing out those two rarities with high frequency. But we all started somewhere, and invariably used some Uncommon weapons heavily as we did. Looking back, which one was/is your favorite out of the Vindicator, Mattock, Phaeston, Phalanx, Scimitar, Eviscerator, Tempest, Locust, Viper, Raptor and Incisor?

For me, it's the Phaeston. It was one of the first assault rifles I unlocked, and I got a ridiculous amount of mileage out of it before it started to show its age. A solid automatic with a good rate of fire and a nice reserve meant it was easy to use on just about anything. It was my primary assault rifle until finally it was replaced by bigger, more powerful offerings. I'll still take it out sometimes for memory's sake.

Love that Phaeston...superficially, it's the coolest looking gun in the game. I wanna mod a Nerf gun to make it look like a Phaeston. I really wish we had gotten a rare or UR upgraded version of it, akin to Mattock --> Harrier.

Matlock. Yep I'm calling it the Matlock. Cus that's what my phone thinks it is and its hilarious. I only wish the RNG would give me them, and I'm not wasting all my credits on veteran packs when i can buy arsenal

Ya I got to go with the Phaeston too. One of my fave AR's to take into Silver. Not very Gold viable though even with a bunch of equipment on.

Mattock is 2nd and would be 1st if it wasn't such a PITA to use after a couple of rounds. Dat Carpal-Tunnel.

I've always loved how the Scimitar handles, I just wish it did actual damage beyond silver.

Phaeston was my go to weapon when I started but now the only uncommon I actually use on a semi-regular basis is the Tempest.

Viper second. Its the poor man's valiant but its not a bad gin in the slightest.

locust....or the tempest....damn always get those two mixed up. the one that is very stable and good for head shots. I simply can't hack the mattock or raptor due to non auto firing for any length of time. Fine gun the mattock is but my hands/wrists get fatigued too quickly.

Locust, without a doubt. No recoil, instant reload speed, lightweight. I actually took it into Gold a few days back on my Fury, and netted myself a couple kills with it. I was using the Pierce Mod and Magazine Capacity. Only took it to 25 bullets, but they were deadly with headshots. It was against Collectors, and Scion's were scattered everywhere, as my beautiful Locust chewed through their heads.
