Same. I don't know how to get a custom avatar, though D:
1- Download/install Dragon Age Origins Character Creator.
2- Find picture that you wish to use and crop it to a square shape (as close as possible to avoid clipping).
2- Name the picture xxxx_portrait (where xxxx stands for whatever you wish to call it) and save it as a png file (can be done using Save As in Paint).
3- Find the place on your computer where the DAOCC will save character profiles (default Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/Pre-release Characters) and copy the picture to the file location.
4- Go to the picture properties and mark it as Read Only.
5- Start up DAOCC and log into your BSN account from within the game (bottom left corner of the main menu).
6- Create a character and name it the same as xxxx in the picture you wish to use.
7- After you finish the character, click the Upload button under the character's portrait.
8- ???
9- Allow a few minutes to update on BSN, then profit.
10- Realize that I had two step 2s.
I've tried that, but it says that it can't access my profile's "online storage" while simultaneously "Upload info" is flashing. Bleh.
