(edited to change title)

The following  quote has gotten stuck in my head becase its soo true .

you know  it amazes me that   people  complain  how  imparactical things are Like Miranda <3and Ashley's <3outfits are they are awsome .. but could always be made  more..... "impractical" ;) in my opinion    or the techncal aspects  of stuff. such as this poster pointed out .

Hate to say it, but given how some people in this audience are, if they were watching Return of the Jedi for the first time they'd slap down a 30 page thread on why the ending was terrible because the debris from the Death Star doomed all the poor Ewoks to destruction.

your completely  correct .  quoted for truth. Its a game I don't care  if it  was "logical" or even realistic that the united forces were able to  beat  the reapers  I just  want an ending like  Return ofthe jedi  where they  do.

I must  look at gaming  different .  I don't  look for practicality  or Difficulty.  Short version  what i am looking for is  Fun  and Sexy  that's another reason why I always play on the easiest possible level  like casual and choose the sexiest outfits for my female companions the sexier  female companion is  and thier outfit the better.

A more detailed version  looking for  is   better described  in my   review  and   other post.

Take a look at how many posts are  in the romance section  yet still most often times when someone mentions  romance   the  get  hit with

This is not a dating sim!!!  line

Like people are actually suprised some people want more

Personally i think more games should be more based on character interaction  and romance than    Halo  cod  skyrim.

That is just my opinion  if your differs  your completely entitled to that    but  doesn't  mean  you have   to understand me  because I certainly don't understand you

I play mass effect for everything ( cept maybe combat I never was an FPS fan ). Characters, Romances and a good story. I enjoy a casual play through just as much as a normal. I think I played ME1 through on hard once and didn't hate that but gave up on insanity. I like the *RP* side of the *RPG*. Bioware games are the only games ever to give us so much RP in our RPG's.

I have always hoped that Bioware would just look at the implication of vast amount of posts in the romance section  an realize that  character interaction and romance deserve to me  more than a side  dish on the plate.

I love FPS, but that's not why I play ME. Never has been.

As mentioned above, it's the RP in RPG that does it for me.

I find myself getting bored with video games lately but I love TWD, Fallout, and Mass Effect and other RPGs.

It may just be me, but I don't find asscrack-accentuating catsuits or impractical body armor "sexy." I like capability. If I were to romance someone, I'd much prefer the original Ashley; the principled, passionate (if a little rough-around-the-edges) professional - the one I could respect, because she had respect for herself. Not the Jersey Shore reject who lets her hair down, wears a skirt in a combat zone, gets drunk and bangs Vega at the party. Not someone who flaunts their "assets."

The original Ashley seemed to be religious, tough, and very justice-oriented. Like Samara.

I look for:

-Entertainmet value
-Replayability
-Plot integrity
-Characters
-Visuals (I don't want to play a current-gen game where people look like melting wax dolls)

What is a fun? A miserable little pile of secrets. But enough talk OP have at you!!!

Seriously though, what I find fun is a game with good gameplay, with a decent story, it doesn't have to be amazing but it does have to keep me interested enough to finish the game.

The thing is ME took itself more seriously in the beginning. Lore-wise I mean. Of course there was lots of pseudoscience (it being a sci-FI), but they tried hard to make it somehow believable, and I personally really liked that. Not everything has to take itself seriously obviously, but I appreciate it when it does. And some things just work better that way. ME was that way, and then they changed it.

As it is I still like Mass Effect a lot, but I did like the touch of 'realism' that isn't there any more.

WOW your pretty Harsh...

So if I understand you basically  because  Ashley  changed her  uniform  decided  she wanted to do a differnt hairstyle  and changed her make up

you now  think of her differently...  wow.. better  let   the women around you  know to never get a make over  new clothes

Personally i think  Ashley  is  a lot less serious and a lot more fun than  in ME1 (the fact that  I  am  her li  could be a reason) and  think  her personality as well as her style and  clothing has improved.

As for banging  vega  if   she's  not your li  maybe they are going to hook up . Garrus and  tali seem to be  if you not with her so how is that any different.

A Question for you....

Are you making that  judgement

1 Because  like the  above quote you want  everything to  be as realistic practical and authentic as possible

2 you think less of women  who dress to  be  noticed  or "flaunt it"  and know how to work a room

Miranda  admits  her looks are  an advantage and   she's right.

I  also personally don't  agree with how you  use the term respect .  So  your  saying that if  a woman  chooses  to  dress  to  accentuate her form she doesn't have respect for  herself.

I am taking that   as you are passing judgement  on  whether or not   women  dress sexy or not .

As for flaunting assets

Do you  judge  Strippers  and Escorts as well?

I for one have a great respect  for them.  (the one  who  willingly go into  it  not the ones forced in any way )

I am not sure if strippers are employed but I respect  independent escorts Simply because  are  self sufficient   do not  rely on  any one else  to give them "employment" like the majority of society does and as a result are becoming  a legally recognized profession in more and more places all the time

The best escorts can  make  more in an hour than most people  make in a week. and some  even more than somone makes in a month,  I am also  self employed  and  Escorts  especially  have learned  what most people haven't realized that working for yourself is a lot better than  being "employed" in any industry.

Can you  honestly  tell me that  Ashley as  a person  changes by the way she  dress   ?
Is this  Ashley  really any different

Image IPB

 This Ashley  ?

Image IPB

If your answer  is  yes . is ok because  society is judgmental and expect  everyone to dress according to established social norms , part  by  shear jealousy  if someone else  could not pull that off as well or the simply fact that  women are "supposed" to dress conservitly or  be prepared to be  judged negatively  as  "stripper wear"

A  similar thing would happen to me  if  I wear jeans  and a t-shirt  to  business presentation  instead of a business suit.

Explain to me how the words coming out  of my mouth, my personality  or my knowledge  change  in any way  with the clothes that I wear.

the short form of this post  is I completely disagree with your response

This as far as basic dress code when working because when you're on ship you're working even if you're off duty you still live there only after shore leave is declared by the captain can so and so run around on the hub world in a cat suit but those who're teamed up with the commader are still on the clock and therefore need to be in their proper attire no cat suits, heels, cleavage armor, belt shirts, mini skirts, or muscle shirts.

Fun = an enjoyable activity. Entertainment. Escape from the life sucks of reality. In Mass Effect I could have my character fall in love with a blue space alien who was brilliant and beautiful. I could be a big goddamned heroine. They were doing fine. I can handle ups and downs.

Then they took all the fun away in the ending. It became a NOT FUN ending, even though Ray Muzyka said it was a fun ending. These people must really hate their lives if they call that ending fun or have masochistic streaks. That was not a fun experience. Making tough choices is not fun. It is a job. Jobs are not fun. They usually suck.

The dark and edgy people can go off somewhere else. If the dark and edgy people are becoming in the majority in the world, I'm glad I'm in the last half of my life. I dread the future because it's going to blow.

What gave me some hope was the Citadel DLC. It was silly fun. I loved it. If there's a way of modding the game so it launches directly after the breath scene in the ending before the credits, I'm all for it.

OK, Return of the Jedi would have been better if the Ewoks had been blown to **** BEFORE they appeared in the movie.  They were a STUPID, childish pile of pandering to the thumbsucking toddlers in the audience.  They sucked.

It only got worse from there: you got Jar Jar and even worse, a thumbsucking toddler Annakin in a life-or-death NASCAR race in the sky.  RIDICULOUS and childish.  Choose your argument points better.  Ewoks, Jar Jar, toddler Annakin are ALL bad examples to use when used as support.  They are only good as foils.

To me, the most important aspect of a game, that defines it's overal quality, is replayability. How it compels you to play the very same missions again and again, just for the pleasure of testing new skills/moral approaches.

Skill-wise.... what can i say. I've always been a "normal difficulty" player. I like winning easy, feeling powerful, seeing enemies PANICKING AND CRUSHED before me, as long as i don't do something really stupid or get distracted.

And that's not really about me being incapable. I beat the first HALO on legendary, after all. I know that, even on Insanity, i'd eventually win through.

It's just that the pleasure of finally beating enemy X does not compensate for the 40 times i got mad at dying. That's neither fun, nor relaxing, and therefore makes no sense to me since i'm expecting to PLAY A GAME.

No Achievement is worth my nervous system. O_O
