Exactly. On Rannoch, they have a fighting chance.

It's not the Quarians fault they were better prepared. Reaper code for the Geth is like god mode; cheating, synthetic haxors...

Why did they need to be like us? I saw the Geth as a unique type of life before the code. They didn't need individuality.

I think it's their decision if they want to become individuals or not.

And if that decision and its outcome requires the use of Reaper tech, I will not be inclined to agree so easily.

My response is pretty appropriate to the two lines of inquiry there, one being about individuality vs the hive-mind and the other being the philosophy behind Legion's own personal synthesis with the Reaper code. Now about this other point asking whether or not the Reaper code is trustworthy: perhaps Shepard would use EDI as a test case in the sense that she is a synthetic upgraded with Reaper code that turned out to be loyal and trustworthy. But of course there's also plenty of reason for Shepard to be suspicious about Reaper code in general at that moment.

Also, nice way to justify Destroy by saying the geth are just machines. It seems that the pro-organic theme of Destroy is working in a roundabout way: "I want the Reapers destroyed and for Shepard to survive, and I don't want to feel bad, so the geth are just machines."

This is how I feel about this thread and a majority of the comments.

I've heard people say that Organics Vs Synthetics wasn't the theme (or some such comment about it's importance) but my god do I see so much anti-synthetic posts on these forums.

The logic in this thread is just ridiculous. If you believe the Geth aren't alive then you can't commit genocide on them, so making a thread about how not to commit genocide on something that you can't commit genocide on has zero logic behind it.
