I can hold my own in plat.just that i dont have any friends willing to try speed running. Will be willing to teach as soom as i learn.

@ op I think it would be a good idea l link in some of the speedrun tutorials on invadeone's channel. He does a good jump going over basic concepts and explains a lot of the why. The pc video is great but you get only one point of view and no explanation as to why they are doing what they are doing.

yes I agree this is a good idea. I was just looking for people to earn fast credits with who knew how to speed run. not really in it for record times just creds although that's what speed running is about I guess. I suppose I can just join a group but I don't know where to start and never really done a real speed run.

I did a few matches with Aizen yesterday, if anyone is looking to do some more let me know. If there are at least 2 experienced players, another "trainee" and I should be able to get through it.

Fact: I actually just picked up the trilogy for my sister to play on my ancient PS3, and was planning on starting to build an MP manifest on PS3. I need to break down my PS3 and try to clean it out though, since it sounds like a space shuttle launch even when it's idle. Not sure if the old girl can handle any of the ME games. Up in the air about whether to return the trilogy and abandon mission since MP is at the tail end and I still have plenty of work to do on Xbox and PC. Decisions, decisions.

Looks like PS3 speed running might get a nice following, we had a decent number of people in the chat room last night. Here is to hope the next gen PS has party chat. Yes xbox'ers, we know this is the best feature you have that we don't.

I might be interested to learn the speedrunning game. PSN same as BSN. I have a mic and I've watched a few Glacier vids before so I sort of understand how it's done. Also have Armored Compartments V and plenty of Cobras .

I normally play Gold, as that's where the fun is at for me, but I'm starting to realize that at this rate it might take another year to max out my manifest. Don't have a lot of Plat experience, few games with friends and PUGs, but I can hold my own.

Aizen, you should add another category to the OP. We have trainers and learners, maybe a "knows the ropes" group for the ones that don't need to be shown what to do, so the trainers know who they can use to help new people.

Bump. Anyone up for trying some runs right now? Though I have yet to do this... I've only watched vids of it... so I'd be a learner. Gonna hop on in a few minutes and I need to change my privacy settings around on PSN too .
