The forum's inadequacies have caused two attempts to offer at least a partial reposnse to the two questions to fail to be saved to the thread, in spite of the assurance from a web site completed post page. 

Never having run into any load problems, I cannot comment on that. 
However, I try to keep up with video hardware, and you should be aware
that trying for any kind of "max" anything with a GT 220 isn't quite a
JOKE, but close to it.  The recommended video card is a Geforce 8800
GTS.  Your card is  not particularly close to being that good.

shows it trails at 40%, 50%, and 80% on the first three perfromance
criteria, clearly placing it in the Mainline Game group, not High End
at all, so MEDIUM settings at Medium Resolutions is where it belongs,
no matter if the game's own configuration utility was in error (was
it?)
