Well it clearly says it's a speed running group.

Trying to speedrun with a kit that moves like it's swimming through molasses isn't exactly intuitive.

But the world record involves standing in the same spot spamming rokets.  What running?

It was a no rocket run on Jade, so sometimes you have to get around quickly if there's nothing in your area. Chan has since switched to playing the Kroguard because BC.

Also, if you're really REALLY intent on getting a good time, chances are you are going to end up with an escort, and you need everyone in the circle as quickly as possible.

Spawn-nuking speedruns do require a bit of mobility to control spawns.
The only free interval you have to move is the short time between waves and if you're lucky, the short time you have before the end of a wave cleanup. You'd be halfway to your destination point while rotating positions in Glacier if you tried to pull it off with a Juggernaut.

That said, you have human characters by default, so it's a moot point.

Huh? We actually had chan play a Juggernaut in one of our no-rocket runs so why not?

The Juggernaut did the job that it was designed to do but for objectives and covering team mates it was too slow, the benefits weren't great enough to bring it for a non rocket speed run. Changing positions, clean up and objectives during a rocket speed run would require a faster character. Experience in dealing with the sync kill enemies can make the Kroguard more survivable than the Juggernaut. Again the benefits just aren't high enough to bring it along. However if you are not comfortable speed running yet the Jugg can help understand some of the basics of the map, enemies and objectives

No we're not all about breaking records, everyone has some goals that want to do and some just want to have fun. Have a look at the member details in the discussion and see if anything suits you. I am trying to put together some info on some of the maps as well so you might learn something.

sure, after all, our latest goal was to get a sub 12 non rocket run and have been trying this for a bit now, also we currently hold fastest non rocket run to @12.50 but with a ridiculous objective wave that screwed up everythig. also feneckus can do alright on aussie host so maybe wont be that bad for you? or maybe thats just fenekus being boss

I added a group discussion for non-rocket speed runs for you. Its under "Crazies that don't missile on speed runs#yolo" might need to give it a while for group to build up abit
