Now I am playing MotB (more precisely, the makeover version in the Vault) with an evil character.

After choosing to devour the Founder through the dialogue, Safiya turned into hostile. And the combat starts. But even if I reduce her HP to near death, Neither Devour Soul nor Spirit Gauge recognize her as a valid target. Are there any other way to Devour her, say, through a dialogue? Or is something odd (say, some bug due to the makeover edition) likely to be happening?

After that I have proceeded to the Eternity's End and Kaelyn tuned into hostile. I cannot devour her, too. Something is wrong....
