I don;t really think this thread was meant to be another RtO whinefest, but I will go ahead and answer Frozeal because he isn't a complete moron, then ignore the no-doubt upcoming ranting by others



The "delay", as I understand it, is that the DLC just wasn't ready to go yet. The fox at microsoft messed up and released early, leaving the people in chare of the other platforms in the lurch.



It is like if you are going to run a race, but one guy takes off 30 seconds before the gun is fired, then your friends ask you why you 'delayed' in starting and start accusing you of throwing the race.

You have to be playing while connected and save with the character for the update to occur. If you've been playing offline and then go online nothing happens. The other possibility is that you have hit the 100 file limit. The game makes heaps of screen shots per character and if you've got auto-load of screen shots ticked then you'll use up that limit real fast. What does your profile diagnostics say?

Lolz. So I am called a "******" and " childish" for pointing out something -that is true-? I didn't say I approved of the handling of the issue, nor that there is no issue, I just wanted to point out that this would be received very differently if the story was the other way around. Console gamers have been feeling like this about a variety of issues and inevitably someone tells them to shut up and whatnot. it might not be any of you who do that, but maybe some community unity rather than platform division would help everyone be happier and Bioware be more responsive.

Thanks for the words, but yeah, I understand that part, still they have not been clear, and what is most pissing me off is that they treat us like 12 year old kids changing the schedule 5 minutes before deadline AND NOT SAYING A THING.
If they have to fix bugs for better quality and delay the product, then it's ok, it's good, that shows a responsible company that takes care for its products and that they are not only thirsty for money releasing ****ty things... but their behavior the last 9 days... we deserve an explanation.

And how would you know that? You are basing this off a few isolated incidents? Please xbox360/ps3 elitist scum are far worse and far more immature than pc elitists.

People are already annoyed with the delay, do you think the pc "elitists" would bother insulting other platform users when they would likely be getting the thing to work and playing it instead?

I have, on the other hand, not seen any "console is superior" threads or posts. And I have certainly not made any comments that would make you think that is my belief. Who is being overly sensitive? Maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions



And of course I do not "know" but I can certainly predict based on previous experiences. We all go through different paths and have our own lenses to look through, and for what I have seen and read yes, I think that would be the case, as it is with the mods.

Geez... Is this really worth so much drama and hostility? The DLC comes out when it comes out, it's not like we can do anything about it and raging on the forums won't make it come any faster. However people who lost their BioWare points by buying the leaked version should be compensated naturally and I can understand why they are frustrated.

Sorry I did not intend to start any sort of flame wars, but rather raise awareness of an issue.

I have the same problem as Ginasues, so I would like to see a solution for that as well, however the technical help section seems like a better place to discuss that.

Some people must have put their heart into this game to be so upset by a delay or whatever else is going on with this situation. I can understand everyone's disappointment in so many problems, but the outrage and sometimes childish behavior is unneeded. I am a bit disheartened that the DLC is taking so long myself. However, I'm not flooded with negative emotion over it.



It'd be something awesome if a few people could settle down.

First off, and I don't blame Bioware or any of the guys and girls doing RTO for this, but Microsoft for releasing to Xbox, there baby the RTO first, and forgetting about the rest of the people. 

Guess you haven't bothered to read the threads.

(1) MS did NOT release RTO early to benefit the 360. It was released early BY ACCIDENT by an MS employee who entered the release date as January 14, 2009 (supposed to be January 14, 2010). In other words, someone made a mistake that could get them fired, and you are whining because you are a DAY LATE getting the DLC. 

(2) Every 360 owner who logged into XBL today to play DAO got a patch that was supposed to fix a bug with the achievements from the first 2 DLC. That patch was supposed to be tied to RTO, though you didn't have to get RTO in order to get the patch. However, because the achievement for RTO wasn't supposed to be out, XBL servers are causing a glitch in every 360 game. Every specialization that was unlocked is locked again. Unlocking a specilization does not allow that specialization to stay unlocked after quiting the game.

Let me say this again - every 360 gamer who played DAO today lost all unlocked specs (though ones that were already assigned to a PC or NPC stayed) and if you wanted to get a spec for a character, you had to unlock it and then keep playing until that character reached a level where they could take a specialization.

So let me ask all you PC and PS3 owners... Would you rather wait ONE DAY for your DLC, or would you rather lose hours of playtime spent unlocking (and keeping) specializations.
